This is about the size of it, and the level of ridicule Cellino has lifted the club to:

What is that now, eleven gaffers in four years? Shameful stuff.

Gary Monk, former Swansea boss, now favourite for the job. Potential to be good, however let's see if there's any truth in the story.
Monk confirmed as the new manager today. As you say, he has the potential to be a decent appointment and I obviously hope he does well but the question is what sort of backing and support will he get from the owner?

They must be paying him damn well. I'm going to speculate that he'll have as much support as the other managers, and as much money for new players.

Decent money offered? Or it's the challenge.

The challenge at leeds will be to last the summer. no Leeds manager last two months without a win.

Good young manager, did a good job in difficult circumstances at Swansea, was unlucky to lose his job imo. I thought he'd be able to get another job in the EPL or at the very least one of the top clubs in league one.

He has sold himself well short here imho.

One year rolling contract as opposed to the 3-4 months that seems to be the norm for this position for the last 4 years.

The manager's job at Leeds would be one of the best opportunities in English football if the right owner was in charge; however, working for Cellino is a massive challenge for anyone so good luck to Garry Monk, he'll certainly need it. Will he be given adequate funds to spend to strengthen the squad? I very much doubt it but even if he is he won't be given time for it all to gel together and if the team doesn't hit the ground running at the start of next season he'll go the way of his predecessors before the end of October....

We had a few moments in the first half but aside from that we looked utterly ste. Questioning why I bought a season ticket!

He is going to need some time , I'd agree it doesn't look good at the minute but let's see where we are in Nov/Dec.
Bridcutt should be signing this week.

Not sure about Nov/Dec, with Cellino's track record I can't see the current manager being there at the end of September. Or the end of August if we keep losing.

Yes, unless results improve I can see Monk being on his way by the end of September; not saying that would be right but history shows that's the way Cellino tends to work. Having said that, it does sound like we've started with two poor performances in the league and that clearly needs to improve; on the first weekend of the season I believe we were the only team in any division not to have a single shot on target....

So GFH are no longer shareholders, surely this paves the way for TOMA and for Radrizzani to buy out Cellino?

Today there was some sort of event at the newly opened LUFC store (Merrion Centre), I take it new kits are out?
Spotted a few players signing the squad photos etc.
