Well another game another home loss. While monk and the players need time it's hard to watch . A flaky defence a midfield that gets overrun and forwards struggling. Monk has already said Blackburn is a must win game. Let's see what the team response to sat is.
Not even mid-September and already I find myself thinking I'd take a finish of 4th from bottom now if offered it! I agree the manager ought to be given a bit of time to get things right but given Cellino's track record it wouldn't surprise me if Monk doesn't even survive until the end of the month; if we lose to Blackburn on Tuesday night he'll be under serious pressure and I suspect he knows it.....Nom de ploom said:
and history looks to be repeating itself....
feck me you can have Stubbs if you want him - i'll pay the train fare from Rotherham too if that wasn't such a pathetic gesture...
Thanks but no thanks for your kind offer of Alan Stubbs! However, I think our issues over the last few years have been more to do with the various owners than the managers and unless and until we get stability at the top - in the form of an owner or owners who are committed to the club - we'll keep going round and round in this vicious circle. Just hope we can manage to avoid dropping back into League 1 while we're waiting for that new owner to emerge..... feck me you can have Stubbs if you want him - i'll pay the train fare from Rotherham too if that wasn't such a pathetic gesture...

Well we made it look difficult but we got the points we so badly needed.
Yes, we certainly needed the win and the three points last night; Cardiff haven't started well either so perhaps a chance of another point or three on Saturday although we don't have a great record there....Big Pants said:
Well that was unexpected. Nice to see Hernandez coming good.
Massimo will probably sack Monk now for ruining his plans to sack him.
Yep, another win and our position in the table looks a lot better than it did a week ago; just illustrates how tight the division is and how quickly things can change with 3 points for a win. Ipswich at home next week so hopefully we can keep the momentum going; think Monk will now survive until at least October although with Cellino you never know!Massimo will probably sack Monk now for ruining his plans to sack him.
Missed the game on Saturday but made it to be the beam back last night. If only we had a player that could finish! Sacko did well so many times but messed up at the final hurdle.
Looks like Massimo has been caught on camera by the Telegraph, oh dear - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/28/leeds-u...

What an absolute corker of a match tonight. Shame about the start but we managed to get back into it and to win on penalties in that kind of atmosphere was just amazing. Shows how well we can do despite so many changes to the squad. The atmosphere tonight reminded me of the promotion winner against Bristol a few seasons back.
Oh and to top it off I won pie cam at half time. GET IN!

Atmos was fantastic although I was in the away end and well done on the pie cam, I thought that was excellent.Oh and to top it off I won pie cam at half time. GET IN!
Terrible season for us and last night summed it up, the game swung so many times for both teams. I thought we could have won it in the first 20mins but did not finish it off and also 5mins either side of our second goal, Leeds looked to be running out of steam. Having said that with the second equaliser there was only going to be one winner and you wanted it more than us, that was very evident on the pitch.
Well done buddy and all the best for a deserved cup run, not the league though..........

Very good win today.
Now in the top 6, still a long way to go though so I'll try not to get too excited
Yep, going well at the moment, all credit to Monk and the squad! You'd think Norwich will be involved at the business end of the table in April/May next year so to go to their place and win is a good result even if they don't appear to be in great form at the moment. Next match is home to Newcastle and that will be another tough test as they're on a good run and will surely occupy one of the automatic promotion spots - and quite probably the top one - come the end of the season; should be a Premier League atmosphere as even though it's live on Sky the Toon's fanatical support will probably still travel in numbers! Now in the top 6, still a long way to go though so I'll try not to get too excited
