I suspect you might have a much better chance tomorrow?

Hmm, your second string team will likely match up to our first XI on current form.

Will be interesting to see if our record signing Borja gets 90 mins under his belt.

Is Pep likely to put out a young / weakened side?

I would. The league cup has got to be at the bottom of the list of importance. The last thing we want is a fixture pile up with the risk of injuries at critical times. I hope Swansea do well.
I'm not Pep though wink

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says he will not pick Yaya Toure until he apologises to the club and his team-mates for comments made by his agent.
Yaya who?
what did he /his agent say I missed it and it is not clear what he needs to apologise for?

The agent said that Toure has been humiliated, when left out of the Champions League squad.

In all fairness , i've watched city take teams apart with great aplomb this season & tbh i've forgotten all about Toure.

Oh right when I read it I still felt he was left out for another reason for which he needed to apologise . YYT has been great to watch but cant help feeling he is past his best now, we should treasure him as the city legend and celebrate his success.

Toure and his idiotic agent have been on borrowed time for a year or so now.

Been a great player, and won us a lot of important games, but at the same time has strolled through just as many not making any effort at all. An enigma.

We have moved on...well done Pep.

Fair play ... put the ball back in Toure's court (and his agent). Toure should be TELLING his agent to make that phone call and quick ...

Who works for who? I sometimes wonder.

my guess would be he's still a mile away from being on the team sheet but there you go - he's getting older, new faces are in ... and he ain't gonna press like Pep wants is he hehe

Good, strong management from Guardiola. Players know where they are as he doesn't piss about. HE is the boss, there's no doubt.

Apparently his agent has now said Pep must apologise for what he did to Pellegrini, whatever that was.

I think once we're done were going to have apologies going back to Adam and Eve!

Pep sold him when he was still good.
Now he's old, fat and lazy I can't see Pep being that worried tbh.

From a neutral POV the blokes a fking laughing stock (Toure). This is the bloke on £200k a week who felt "disrespected" when he wasn't sung happy birthday by Txiki or whatever the hell he though he was entitled to.

Bit nervous today, but we came good at the end.

Nice to see Sterling has got his confidence back.

Is Sergio the world's best striker along with Suarez?

He's trying to be so fking annoying that City will pay up some of Toure's to walk away. City on the other hand seem determined to make him ask to tear his contract up for nothing. Great sport is you are anyone but Toure!

Dubious penalty decision changed the game but your lot are so quick on the break it's unreal.

Despite the result I was pretty pleased we matched you for some of the game, particularly first half.
