This was a picture my Wife actually took on that day at about 80 mins
Do you remember what you were doing at that moment CIE?
I bet you were grinning like a fool who believed victory was almost in their grasp.
I bet 15 minutes later you were banging your head against the wall, crying like a baby, unable to comprehend what had gone wrong ( or have I got you and Rooney mixed up?)
Happy days smile
Have to say as a non-City fan that the last five minutes of the game makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Truly spine-tingling historic moments, brilliantly commentated on by Martin Tyler.

Must have been pure madness as a City fan.
In 99 at Wembley my mate left early, I then proceeded to be ambushed, hugged and kissed by the same mate who had left 10 minutes prior as we has got the scores level, as we won the penalties I tried to distance myself from such intimacy from my mate.

Against QPR, the same mate, plus a couple of others left the pub as it was game over, I said the words 'BElIEVE, spirit of 99', I was blagging myself as I said it at 2-1 down, 2-2 and there wasnt much of a cheer from the pub, more a mumbling of discontent, 3-2 we went wild, as you do, 1 mate came running back in the pub, he had run a quarter of a mile (1st time in 20 years since he got chased by the police) after seeing a City house explode with cheers, the other mate got drooped off by his missus 5 minutes later, he had made it home severly pissed off to an overjoyed Missus who has watched us win.

Watching it back brings back crazy memories, the day before was a good day for personal reasons, the week after brilliant for personal reasons, A proper 'where was you when?' week? for me.

Is Richards any good? Read Liverpool are interested in him. Can he defend set pieces, head the ball etc?

He's better than what you've got.

It saddens me to see how many Liverpool fans had given up on the title half way through the Everton game.
You keep fighting until the end, if you really believe, and we should know ,

Bloody hell. I'm not sure winning in April would be any fun! You just know the villa and spam games are going to be mental roller coaster games! Shame I have a soft spot for both clubs. Must be the colours!

I'm sort of glad I can't be there for the West Ham game as I'm being a god father (to the daughter of a Villa fan).
My hearts not up to the stress anymore smile

I never thought I'd like City to win the title but you're not our real rivals in those terms (if you win it, 4 titles vs 20... jesus lol), so it's better than Liverpool winning it.

Don't bottle it now.

I live close to the Emptihad and I pass the council house very often on the Metrolink into town sadly.

You aren't one of the big boys. 18 vs 20 is better than 19 vs 20. biggrin

4 vs 20 is just....... well.

hehe
