@mattspiro: Yaya Touré: 'I went to celebrate title in Abu Dhabi while my brother was in bed dying. I regret not insisting more, not getting respect'
He's being very public about it but will anybody actually come in for him?
Can't see anybody paying the price tag that City would command for him.

Here's some quotes. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jun/24/ya...
"At the end of the season, I wanted to stay for four or five days with my brother before I flew to prepare for the World Cup with Ivory Coast, except that City did not want to give me a few days."
Either he is an utter tt using his brother's death to force through a move or it's true and City are the tts (well they are anyway but y'know )
Nobody will come out of this looking good.
Personally I can't see people at City not allowing him to go.

Meanwhile, the nasty Arab man is not content with ruining football, so now has his sights set on ruining more of east manchester by pumping £1bn into housing development in ardwick and new islington. What a total bustard.
Without the 'nasty Arab man', you'd be fighting for relegation in the second division. Instead, his bought you 2 premier league titles in the last few years.
Ungrateful tt.
I don't know what to think tbh,
I can't really believe the club have done anything wrong but Toure seems to believe they have. Grief can affect people in "strange ways", but if he wants to go then it's probably best for everyone concerned if he did.
Let's hope it can sorted in a amicable way because we're all very fond of him
At least we haven't got the problems with our players that some clubs have got tonight

Anyhow, back on earth, yaya clearly warns out, so I say cash in. Fernandinho can step up more, and fernando is a done deal

I'm sure you do want to keep him. It appears he definitely wants out though otherwise he wouldn't talk about it with the media?
If he was sold, the money you got for him wouldn't buy a player of his calibre would it?

Would like to see Milner given a chance in the middle too.

Are you comparing Milner to Yaya?
I doubt he is, Yaya is one on his own IMO,But Milner has rarely had the chance to play, or shine in the middle which I think is his best position.
Get rid of Yaya, no point holding onto a player who doesnt want in, only causes further disruption in the camp.

I had Yaya down as a class act - a real leader. As a United supporter I'd say he is just the type of player we've been missing. Won't City miss him too?But Milner has rarely had the chance to play, or shine in the middle which I think is his best position.
