I think what BCM means is that it's dull at the Lane when the Hotspuds are having their tummies tickled by Dynamo Ditchwater.

Haven't City got plans to increase the capacity to 60,000?

Seems a bit pointless if they struggle with to fill it for CL games.
It's not pointless to sell another 10000 season tickets. Premier league is where it's at not Champs League group games. This in time should make a bigger pool of fans to go to the matches like the one last night.

And then we can start forcing season ticket holders to go to European matches smile

Maybe the everyday fan is getting fed up with European football (all games are on the telly anyway) Man city and Chelsea rarely sell out for the Early CL games, Arsenal get around it by including them in the price of the season ticket, hell even Liverpool who hadn't been in the competition for five odd years had tickets left the day before their first game.

Only tickets that had been returned to us by the visiting club (a small Bulgarian club 2000 miles away).

Reasons that happened with Liverpool - way they sell tickets

Loads went on sale then they took them off (as sold out) which they never are on 1st sell - then they went back on sale few days before but no email goes out to tell you...proper pain in the ass getting tickets for liverpool

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ hehe

City at the moment remind me a bit of England. Often look good against the lesser teams, lots of promise. Then they come up against someone half decent in a major competition...

Any of you City fans give me a recommendation on Jordy Hiwula? My club (Yeovil Town) have today signed him on a three month loan deal.

I've seen his videos; he looks bloody quick and very direct. Seems like we approached Brian Marwood about Devante Cole too but he chose Barnsley instead.

You might need to wait for them to undress out of their blue seat fancy dress outfit to get an answer Glover wink

Loads of empty seats in the title run in last year as well. I used to think City fans were ace - when they were st before the oil rush. Maybe they just have the hardcore fans who always went and the plastic ones since the oil money came in are just a bit... plastic.
Me all along, I used to go before we won the lottery, I felt as though the club needed my money as we were skint. Since the takeover I have been a handful of times, the atmosphere has changed, not the same in game banter between the fans, and it is now an expensive hobby, 10+ home games more a season to fund than Pre Sheikh times, I simply put my financial priorities elsewhere.
I am not ashamed to say my season ticket is in the armchair or the pub, still love the club and wouldnt change what has and is happening.

Time to concentrate on the league, or is there one more CL game to go before that?

It was never a penalty if that's any consolation.

hehe If I knew you weren't laughing at United last night I might have some sympathy after the penalty. But... smile

To be fair - I thought it was an identical penalty to the one that Lampard "won" at the weekend. You can't have it both ways!

(Obviously neither were penalties by the way).

that was exactly my thought too, forward manoeuvred into the position and went down with minimal and accidental contact
