Do you see this as a problem for you guys moving forward? I have not seen a youngster come through at City for ages? and its not as if you can now go out and blow 100m on younger players with the FFP??

Can't see a problem with it really. Every one of those players has at least 3 years in them - that's a lifetime in this day and age.Hart - 27

May have a few quid on them to win the league. They have the players to win every game between now and the end of the season.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I'd be quite so confident.May have a few quid on them to win the league. They have the players to win every game between now and the end of the season.
Kompany doesn't seem to be getting any better and I wouldn't expect him to at his age.
Toure at 31 has had a bit of an average season. Last season there were several games that he did a "Gerrard" in and dragged the team to a win. He's definitely not done that this season and at his age his best performances are going to get less and less frequent.
Those two players represent half the spine of your team. Losing a World class centre back and midfielder - they're going to be two very difficult players to replace.

Just looking at that list I'm surprised Kompany is only 28, he's had a tough paper round. His best years are behind him imo.jammy_basturd said:

I am a Liverpool fan so I've got no vested interest.Kompany doesn't seem to be getting any better and I wouldn't expect him to at his age.

Liverpool were very good yesterday, but City weren't as bad as is being reported and they have all the money in the world to put it right.

I haven't watched much Citeh this season, but wasn't everyine desperate to have Yaya back from Afcon as they never win when he doesn't play? Kompany doesn't seem to be getting any better and I wouldn't expect him to at his age.

I see it as a problem.
There's 4 or 5 players who'd get in most teams in the world and they've played together for several years. They should have gone a lot further in the CL by now but times running out now.
We may have missed our chance.
New manager in the summer I think.
What about youth? none coming through? cant remember last time I saw a youngster make it at City?? There's 4 or 5 players who'd get in most teams in the world and they've played together for several years. They should have gone a lot further in the CL by now but times running out now.
