You Bluemoon folks could form a committee to come up with a thread title for next season.
My starter for ten would be The Official Without Joe Hart We'd Be *******d Thread.
I prefer "The Official even with Joe Hart we were fked "thread
At least you were in the ECL until this week.
I suspect your not so beloved owners expected more than last 16 and there will be consequences.

First time I've ever gone and done something else even though we were 3-0 up.
Red card was right (even though it was the wrong player) but it killed the game, right from the start, and it ended up dull as dishwater.
Oh well, 3 points smile

I see Kompany's sending off has been removed from Vine, but this is even better.

ffs! Let's face facts, this season has been a disaster, but fair play to Palace, they held out.

Huge game at Old Trafford coming up, if only for the Manchester bragging rights....biggrin

Not blaming Pellers, too many players just have not performed for him this season, although some of his tactics/formations have been debatable.

Doubt he'll be here next season.

Well done Chelsea, worthy Prem winners this season.

Every game against us is like a cup final for the home team, and they raise their game accordingly, and if our players aren't 100% in form then you get a game like tonight.
We've had a good season this time but not a great one.
Chelsea and Arsenal are where they deserve to be.
I'm not sure if Utd have totally deserved to be where they are, and that's not just because i hate them smile

That's the same for any of the Top 4 sides....if you are not on it in the PL you get beaten. It's why the TV rights are so valuable compared to the other leagues where it doesn't happen anywhere near as much.

Citeh played okay tonight, it was one of those games that when you are dominating and don't get anything on the score sheet the other team seem to feed off it.

Not so sure that's the reason. And it's also fair to point out that the PL doesn't have a side with the quality of Barcelona, Real or Bayern.

One thing about a long gruelling season in football is the table doesn't lie, (imo) teams end up exactly where they deserve to be, and bad referee decisions/penalty calls tend to even themselves out.

For City, it's now a dogfight for second place...United and Arsenal are on a roll.

Not too confident about Sunday tbh.

Kompany has been very poor recently.

EFA

(and people take the piss out of Jones, Evans & Smalling over at Utd!)

There is a serious lack of good quality CB's in the Prem at the moment IMO. Terry is probably still about the best there is & he's well over the hill FFS!

So city are experiencing what's its been like for united since the 70s,teams raising their game etc.
As for deserving to be where they are, look at the record of the top 6/7 against each other ,that tells you all you need to know.

I think we're all aware how crap teams raise their game against Utd. It's the reason why I saw City beat Utd so many times in the dark old days.
I'm not sure what the record of the top 6 teams against tells me all I need to know. Can you explain further?

With RM knocking up a bid for Aguero and Yaya seemingly off, doesn't leave you looking very strong for next season unless you buy well. If you finish outside the top 4 (doubtful) do you think you can still attract big names?

So that's a novel way of working out league positions. Ignore results against teams outside the top 6. Ignore the fact that not every one in the top 6 has played each other yet. Man maths at its best.

My point was though that United haven't played at all well over the majority of the season and have still managed to get wins.
There's only really Chelsea who've played well for the majority and they are where they fully deserve to be.
