1st heard it about 5 years ago though.
Keep up
That's the problem with the Sean Connery thread.
Just trying and failing to keep the banter going.
City are looking odds on for third and Utd may end up in the 'rat race' vs Pool for fourth.
It could be an interesting transfer window for both City and United. Major £££ time?

Just when I've managed to shrug of the "typical City" mentality, they've gone back to being "typicalCity.
Hopefully it'll be at least 4th but there's still a few games left to completely fk up yet
It doesn't matter if you shrug off the typical City mentality, incest is always wrong.Hopefully it'll be at least 4th but there's still a few games left to completely fk up yet

How do you guys feel about this - I think we have pulled off a good signing here?

Sorry to see him go. He's a good player and never stops trying. I don't think midfield is his ideal position though. How do you guys feel about this - I think we have pulled off a good signing here?
I'm not to worried though.
Holy thread resurrex! So Stirling for £49m. He's a good player but we're paying a lot for potential and English player tax. He is a massive upgrade on Navas but all things considered its at least 19m too much. Hopefully in time he'll prove his worth and we're looking at a future City legend.

I have a sneaky feeling Sterling will turn out to be a very good investment, if Liverpool didn't really rate him they would have snatched City's hand off at 35m.
Time will tell.
He's a quality player - if he learns how to score he will be world class for 10 yrs at least.Time will tell.

That's not quite how good negotiation works. In an industry as ruthless as football, if you know you've got a dud but someone is still willing to pay good money for them, you take the money.Time will tell.
Not saying Sterling is a dud, at all, but Pellgrini had already said Sterling would cost City £100m and how much has he cost?
