Just makes it even easier for anyone to throw out the over-used 'bought a title'...
Bony and Sterling for c£80mil is an absolute disgrace,
May as well just set the fking cash on fire.
Regarding Bony, at the time of his transfer from Swansea, he was the leading scorer in the Premiership.....(IIRC)Bony and Sterling for c£80mil is an absolute disgrace,

He just hasn't done it with City.
I think Sterling will prove to be a good long term buy with Pep's guidance.

I would be shocked if Sterling did become a long term player for Pep ..... I would expect you to either this or next year buy a better winger than himHe just hasn't done it with City.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Bony, he's just not one of those players who can play a handful of games a season and be right back at his best as soon as he comes on. He's the type of player that needs to be played regularly.
I think you're right. For his own career, he needs to move on to a smaller club.Man Utd maybe?

I'm not sure he was even close to the leading scorer. He transferred 14/1/15 and at that point he'd scored 9 in the season. I've not checked anyone else, but Aguero had 14 at the same point.Never been a Bony fan tbh....
Sterling won't be a long-term Pep player, I don't believe.
I'm not always right, especially when it comes to football, but I've never rated either.
Had a Liverpool fan at my old work and he was fking delighted to get shot of him for 50 mil to us.
I'd have kept (says the unemployed mechanic...) Jimmy Milner and Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko was a definite goal scorer, absolute impact player and helped us time and time again.
Sad to see the back of both of them.
