Think City just about deserved that, based on first half performance and the resilience they showed in the second half.

Yeah it could have been a red card and Utd could have got a draw but do any Red think that would have been a fair result and a reflection of City's dominance of the first half and resolute defensive performance in the 2nd.
It could have just as easily have been 3-1 or 4-1 to City.


Looks like Utd are pushing the Hacienda for the 2nd best club in Manchester now.

Hard to argue that City didn't deserve to win but I'm more disappointed about our performance than the result. The first half was very one sided. Luckily there's no City fans at my new job.

Was sitting at Albert Square taking shelter with a few pints, the lightning show was amazing.

A shame for the Germans who made the trip though, and the few thousand City fans who would have attended.
