There is too much panicking taking place.

The first five minutes and subsequent predictable naive defending was our undoing (as it often is). It was obvious that they would use Vardy to exploit the gaps and lack of pace (Kolarov anyone?). Pep knows where it needs fixing and I have no doubt he will fix it. My only concern is his persistence with the three at the back irrespective of who we are playing.

Also, after a chunk of the season, it is obvious that Bravo's ball playing skills do not make up for his lack of shot stopping skills. And for those who say bring back Joe, for a long time his record would not have been so good if it were not for Kompany and co in front of him. Having said that I would probably swap back given the chance, rightly or wrongly!

What odds are there on winning the league? It is a long season and definitely worth a punt.

Lescott was a far better player than Stones. Just saying.

Stones is still young and will learn from his mistakes.

The issue is can we afford to wait?

We need a settled team, all this chopping and changing is no good, players need to get to know each other...any decent coach knows this.

I am still optimistic for a top four finish though. (At least)

He's made a few rickets already in a short career, but I hope he does.

Is it correct you'e not played the same starting 11 two games running?

According to MOTD we have made more changes than any other team in the premiership...over 50.

Never a good sign.

When City won the league in 1968, (I accept it was a different era) we played with virtually the same team all season, including cup games

Dowd/Mulhearn.
Book
Pardoe
Doyle
Heslop
Oakes
Summerbee
Bell
Lee
Young
Coleman
Sub Connor.

I remember virtually that team (from memory) when I saw them lift the League Cup in '70 - albeit maybe Corrigan was in by then. off to check ...

1 England Joe Corrigan
2 England Tony Book (c)
3 Scotland Arthur Mann
4 England Mike Doyle
5 England Tommy Booth
6 England Alan Oakes
7 England George Heslop
8 England Colin Bell
9 England Mike Summerbee Substituted off
10 England Francis Lee
11 England Glyn Pardoe
Substitute:
12 England Ian Bowyer Substituted in
Manager:
Joe Mercer

Not a bad team!

Not a great performance, but we had nearly all the possession, and got the three points which is the most important thing.

Roll on Arsenal.

What has gone wrong at Man City?

At the start of the season they looked unbeatable. They look very nervous now and the crowd is very tense too.

I can't see Arsenal not winning this now.

Typing this at half time.

We'll see what happens in the second half, but I'm not hopeful, Arsenal have a decent side.

Much better performance second half, a great twenty minute spell of attacking football.

Arsenal didn't really turn up thankfully.

After the game, you could tell what it meant to the City players.

Don't speak too soon!
I think we'll need an injury or two to Chelsea and be on top form for the rest of the season to finish ahead of them.

Nope, we've definitely been Guardiolared.

Great second half City, Arsenal couldn't live with us, we were relentless.
