Well I am off to the pub for todays match. Haven't been to a match all season (first time for quite a few years) as I am out in Gibraltar with my wife's job until Feb.
Hopefully I can get to a couple of London away games when we come home. Can't wait for a proper match-day again smile

How many more points need to be dropped before Guardiola's record is worse than that of Mark Hughes?

Patience seemed to describe today's game.

Vinnie is in with the away fans tonight rather than sitting with the City squad.

Optimism is all well and good, but no way on earth is this our season.

Sad to say it, but i think Zaba (apart from one or two moments) looked off the pace today. Aleks wasn't much better. Sterling could have done more to prevent their only goal. He looked happy to pass the buck and let someone else deal with the ball in.

Sterling would have had to get out of Milners' pocket to do anything, why we let Milner go I will never understand.

You didn't, his contract was up - I think you even offered him better wages than we did. But we promised him regular first team football in his favoured position. Ironic now he's playing LB.

People moan about Milner - what does he do etc - and esp after the Euro 2016 mess, but he's an unsung hero in many ways. He's the player we would all want in our team. Honest, reliable, doesn't stay down with some 'injury', plays hard but fair and you know he'll put the effort in all game and not sulk when he's subbed. No wky social media 'image' either. Yes, he makes mistakes sometimes, but very few players don't.

City need to get a string of results together or else top 4 finish starting to look problematic.

None of the other 5 in the top 6 dropping points to clubs outside the top 6.

Chelsea - out of sight?
Liverpool - look a decent team under Klopp and playing well.
Arsenal - always finish top 4, don't they?

Leaves one spot - City/Spurs/Utd.

Utd getting better every game.

Time to invest in the window?

Just seen that and mystified by that as well. I would have thought this was an ideal game to get him sharp again?
