Recorded for posterity - Could be (please oh gods of footie) Salford Contemptibles will be stuck on 20 just as long as the scousers were on 18. Really pleased you are odds on to get Van Gaal. Never managed to turn a sinking ship around yet. He won't last a year - you heard it here first
Still wondering how Arsenal only managed 1 point this year against the Moyes machine, after all it's not like you were real contenders!

The records will show 4-0 but it didn't feel like that in the stands! Bus firmly parked by villa and nearly got us on the break. Perfect tactics by lambert and ones which don't warrant any whingeing about negative tactics from me or any other city fan.

On to Sunday and west ham.....

Well I think its all over now, we gave you a run for your money but you held your nerve when we couldnt.

So congratulations and we'll get you next year.

^^ Indeed. Well done chaps, would take an epic implosion on your part on Sunday for us to take it off you now.

Stranger things have happened but it's not likely.

Having said that, watch us both lose on Sunday now! laugh

At least Chelsea can't take it now. smile

Next year will be MUCH harder for you. With CL as well you'll need a bigger squad and you'll be playing many more games which not only means more tired legs but, crucially, less prep time between games. Chelsea have played something like 20 games more than you this season, that will take a big toll on you I reckon.

A bit premature with the congratulations on here! Anything can happen in what's been a crazy season. We are City (we fight till the end) - we'll save any celebrating until the final whistle.

A good professional job last night keeping patient until we got the breakthrough. Same again on Sunday required but really want 3 or 4 early goals to settle the nerves! At 2-0 last night I was still worried.

You just knew what Toure was going to do when he picked up the ball in his own half. Ok, my turn to score now! laugh

Went to the ground at about 6.30 and went straight inside as we had a nightmare at the last night game.

Lawro looks like someone's offered him a turd sandwich on footy focus. Mind you, he also looks homeless so he might just accept it!

Good luck for tomorrow - even as a quiet neighbour, still want the PL title to stay in Manchester!

Really? I would rather anyone win except U****d !

If they were playing a Taliban select 11 I'd want them to lose.

So that makes you an ABU whereas I am a fan of Manchester and opted for the Red side, but today opted to post a good luck message for the Blue side.

Ok then, I won't break PH tradition then.

Here's hoping that West Ham go 1-0 up in the 93rd min and Newcastle go 1-0 down at the same time and the trophy ends up on Merseyside. loser
