So that's a novel way of working out league positions. Ignore results against teams outside the top 6. Ignore the fact that not every one in the top 6 has played each other yet. Man maths at its best.

My point was though that United haven't played at all well over the majority of the season and have still managed to get wins.
There's only really Chelsea who've played well for the majority and they are where they fully deserve to be.
,obviously the rest of the games count, the point is of those competing for the top 4 who has been better than united (excluding chelsea), the results speak for themselves ,and one can only deal with games that have been played ,not ones that havent.Whilst they havent played at all well in your words, they actually havent been as bad as many make out ,and for every lucky result there has been an unlucky result .
Your argument is that united dont deserve to be in the top 4 based on performances,so who does ..spurs ? liverpool ? Southampton ?

And with regards to chelsea, they will win the league and deserve to do so,but they have not been convincing in many games ,and they were so negative against yourselves and us that it is really hard to warm to them in any way shape or form,I prefer watching yourselves play than chelsea.

I'd be surprised but I do think they'll be one by next season

agree,it would be stupid at this point to get rid ,but there's a lot of money being placed on an imminent dismissal .

thought some city players should be ashamed of themselves. Thought Toure was a disgrace- lazy, not interested and a shadow of his former self. Get rid

Can't post from the match Stuart!

Proper derby that was though. Could have gone either way until our 3rd. We were due one though!

That's not the Chelsea I follow. We've been rubbish for ages, Swansea away was our last good performance. Today at QPR was a prime example. Complete dirge.

We may well win the league as over the entire season, we've been less crap than everyone else. But we'll be the joint worst team to win the league, along with Utd in 2013.

Is this a cunning plan to win the league next season by finishing 7th and having no European distractions?

I do sympathise.
The game was a ding dong derby up to 3-1.
A good pal is a lifelong City fan. And today is his birthday!

Personally I think reports of the terminal decline of City are exaggerated.
Not long ago some of those same people were inking United in for the bottom half of of the league.

You'll be back. I hope you keep the scousers at bay.

I wouldn't blame anyone to read and not care much about this, but it does effect me and is a dissapointing attitude from the club I love...

I received this email today from MCDSA:

Manchester City Disabled Supporters Association (MCDSA) have been in existence since 1999 and have always worked closely with Manchester City Football Club (MCFC) to promote inclusion in terms of disabled fans attending games at the Etihad Stadium. We have had two long standing agreements in place:

That those disabled fans who are able to sit in standard seating will pay the Under 21 rate for the area of the ground their seat is located in, if age allows for a cheaper concession the lower price would be applied. MCFC have honoured this agreement for the new season.
That disabled fans who need to use wheelchair bays will pay the Under 21 rate applicable for the South Stand in all areas of the Ground apart from the Family Stand where bays are priced cheaper. Again if age allows a cheaper concession the lower price would be applied. MCFC have broken this agreement without first consulting with MCDSA and do not have our support.

Since opening the new stadium MCFC have never complied with the minimum legal number of wheelchair bays as is the case with most Premier League Clubs. As part of the planning process for the expansion of the stadium MCFC were instructed that they must put in additional bays to ensure they comply. MCDSA repeatedly requested meetings with MCFC regarding stadium expansion, building of the new CFA stadium and pricing for 2015/16, all requests were refused. MCDSA also made it clear we did not want any communication going out to disabled fans without our prior knowledge, this was also refused.

MCFC have chosen to put prices up around the ground for the 2015/16 season which are above the rate of inflation. As MCFC has always offered some of the best value season ticket prices in the UK we can understand and accept a gradual increase in prices to bring us in line with other clubs on the basis that fans are given the option to relocate to cheaper areas of the ground if they wish. MCFC have also taken the decision to create two ultra-premium areas of the ground on Level Two, again we understand this activity as long as fans are offered other suitable alternative seating such as Level One or Three of the same stand.

20 Wheelchair bays have been affected by this Ultra-Premium pricing which in our opinion no longer makes them accessible to the majority of disabled fans. 12 Additional bays are being added to the North Stand which the club now claim to make them compliant, but in real terms we are now minus 8 bays on a non-compliant 2014/15 season in an expanded stadium for the 2015/16 season in terms of affordable and accessible bays. MCFC have been very vocal in their super budget priced £299 season ticket in the new expanded South Stand, none of these are available to wheelchair fans as they have not put any bays into the new expanded areas. MCFC are also currently unable to offer any relocation options within the Colin Bell or East Stands for wheelchair users, forcing long standing seasoncard holders out of these stands.

MCDSA have repeatedly raised complaints to MCFC regarding wheelchair users being separated from their carer/companion due to the current distribution of spaces. We have also repeatedly raised our concerns regarding disabled fans not being able to see through fans standing in front of them. We have never asked for fans to be made to sit as we appreciate that all paying fans should be free to enjoy the game and this will include standing during parts of the game. What we have asked for is that the sightline for disabled fans including some ambient areas be improved so as our members can enjoy an unobstructed view of the pitch. MCFC have point blank refused to spend any money on improving existing disabled facilities and in the new CFA stadium have put the majority of wheelchair bays at pitch level where they are badly affected by the Manchester weather and have sightlines obstructed by advertising hoardings.

The full MCDSA Committee is disgusted in the attitude of MCFC Directors and Management for their refusal to consult with us or work with us to resolve known issues. In the past we have always worked together to find the best available solution to our members, but now we are being repeatedly ignored or refused the help we feel we need. In the past we have tolerated direct discrimination of disabled fans where we felt it allowed the club to deliver a better service by ensuring their Disabled Liaison Officer is able to match needs to the tickets issued. Unfortunately MCFC have done away with the role of Disabled Liaison Officer with a direct effect on the service level now available to our members, as such we no longer feel we can accept any form of discrimination such as their:

Refusal to offer priority ticketing to MCDSA whilst allowing Manchester City Football Club Supporters Club Members tickets to games they do not qualify for.
Refusal to operate a 24/7 ticketline to disabled fans despite offering this service to all other fans.
Refusal to allow disabled fans to purchase tickets online meaning they have to ring on an often over busy number or visit the ground in office hours.
Refusal to allow all disabled fans to sit next to the person they attend the game with.
Refusal to open the new budget seasoncard to wheelchair fans.
Refusal to ensure disabled fans can view the game they have purchased tickets for due to sightline obstructions.

We are also calling on the club to create a full circle of wheelchair bays around level one to allow disabled fans to choose which stand they wish to sit in or cancel the premium upgrade of the 20 bays affected until a suitable solution can be found.

I sincerely hope that you bring a swift end to that discrimination, it's 2015 FFS and clubs still do this?
