Don't be daft, he's a rag!
I'm surprised he's even from Manchester!!

I went to Community Shield (and FA Cup Final when Wigan beat us 1 - 0 to get to the Community Shield) in the Wigan end wearing my City shirt and the amount of abuse I got was hilarious.
Even more funny than the tragic abuse was the fact that EVERY Utd fan was a proper southerner! Never been to OT I'd hazard a guess.

Don't let TheLordJohn find out, he'll be saying you're not a real fan if he hears about it.

Lots of passing and possession. Very little forward movement or doing anything much with the ball. This is against Sunderland....with Pellegrini or Mancini it'd probably be 3-0 already. Not 1-0 from a penalty.

So keeping the ball & winning, isn't that what the games all about .

Some would call it 'parking the bus' on a Chelsea thread. Supporters may call it 'doing what is necessary to maintain a win'. The neutrals would call it 'boring'.

That was an emphatic display. Scoring a penalty, loads of possession with little development clinging on to a lead. Conceding and then scraping a victory against Sunderland via own goal.

Things are going to have to get a lot better than that to secure a top 3 spot this season.

Very poor performance, sloppy passing, but we got the three points (just) which is the most important thing..smile

Pep definitely has his work cut out, but at least he now knows what he is working with.

Sterling and Navas were impressive (imo).., Aquero had a quiet day......... it's early days....onwards and upwards.

I feel a bit sorry for Sunderland, it's always cruel when you lose near the end of the game, but they'll be OK.

I thought the passing was generally quite good. Pep wasn't happy with the speed of them.

A well played possession game is far from boring, see Bayern and Barca. But also the hardest to master.

But maybe it's a cultural thing.

You can't expect the players already have adapted to the new playing style.

And if one team wants to corner the opponent on their half to it automatically means that forward ball movement is reduced, Barca and Bayern opponents often dig themselves in.

Someone on here was after a specific City top & I said I'd let them know when I cleared my loft.
