Scrape a draw.

In my opinion, first game couldn't have been much worse than Sunderland.

A lot will depend on Jol's team, but with the centre midfield in such turmoil....

Assuming everyone's fit and Spurs play 4-4-2, who plays across the middle??

Lennon, Keane??, Zokora, Malbranque....?

Spurs currently have midfielders of:

Boateng,
Huddlestone,
Jenas,
Lennon,
Maghoma,
Malbranque,
Murphy,
O'Hara,
Rose,
Routledge,
Taarabt,
Tainio,
Zokora......

Plus 'Boomerang' Ghaly
and probably Keano playing behind two strikers, I reckon.

yikes

I'm not keen on Sunderland as the first game - I think it's going to be a tricky one.

yep it will be difficult, Sunderland 1st game back and in the Prem, just forked out £9,000000 for a goal keeper, but I have faith in Martin Jol and the boys.

revised score line ..........Sunderland 1-2 Tottenham

Seems like Big Martin Jol has welcommed Ghaly back.

Is this a good thing?

Who would you rather Spurs sold, Ghaly or Mido??

Does the 'shirt' incident or the 'teeth' incident have any bearing.....?

Mido needs to go, 5th stiker=no games except the odd appearance on the bench. Ghaly I rate him, and given the opportunity could still play for Spurs. At least he apolgised to Jol about the shirt throwing.

well guys I saw this coming tonight, it was odds on we were going to lose. Once kaboul came of with a hamstring damage, our defence looked shaky, wasnt brilliant while he was there. Wondered what went through MJ mind as he trooped of, the team once again lacked creative ideas, after the Sunderland defeat I was expecting more changes then one. MJ just doesnt seem to learn from his mistakes, we spend a fu*king fortune on young midfield players but dont use them, instead we stick Keano in the middle, Keano is no midfielder, he is an attacker. What is the sodding point buying Boatang, leaving Hudds on the bench and not picking Tarabut who had a brilliant preseason, and yet we stick an attacker in midfield. I like MJ, but I just cant get my head around his team selection and his naive tactics. Tonight it showed that he didnt have a clue, defense was a bloody shambles again, I know injuries have taken there toll, but it was bloody Gardener who cost us the game against Sunderland. Curtis Davies is a must now, pay WBA whatever they want to land the defender. I would change the whole midfield for Saturdays game and play a 3-5-3 . 3 central defenders (if we have any left) Chimbonda on the right as wing back, Malbranque on the Left. With Hudds, Zorkora and Tarrabut, in the middle. Bent and Keano up front. Berba looks awful atm and needs dropping, lacking in ideas seemed totally stumped this season on how to take defenders on, really disappointing. Distinct lack of motivation. If we havent got any points on the board by the time we play MAN UTD, I can see MJ getting the sack.

A really Fu*ked of and pissed.............supporter, oh and we can kiss goodbye to a top 4 finish, that just aint going to happen....
