So is anyone mildly optimistic for the season? I have to say I'm not. We've lost all our width and not really replaced it. On the plus side it looks like James Henry and Keven McDonald are staying and Connor Coady looks like a good signing.

I think we're going to be looking at 6/7th.

I wouldn't be too disheartened yet. We played well against QPR, it just went horrifically wrong goalkeeper wise..

I think he'll stay but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a sort of "give us one more season" arrangement where he will stay this year and then be allowed to leave if we don't get promoted. To be fair, if he keeps going as he has, he deserves to play in the prem.

Haha, what kind of answer are you expecting?! To be serious we played terribly at Cardiff and folded from a good position against QPR but I would expect to beat Charlton. So......erm....I'm not sure

So I guess three talking points.

Bid accepted for Stearman, I feel a poor decision to sell based on his performance and commitment to the team over the years. I fear we may miss that experience at the back.

Van la parra is probably on his way out as well. I don't think he was given much of a chance when we brought him in, I was hoping to see a lot more of him this season.

And Dicko, oh st I'm fearing the worst. I'm guessing an emergency loan will take place but who to bring in?

If we lose them three players we haven't got a team. Afobe will end up leaving too knowing our luck.

I can't understand why they're selling to a rival side (Fulham), it doesn't make much sense to me...

Slightly OT but it was good to see Sako playing well yesterday.
