it was a superb performance. The first half hour was completely dominated by us in a way I've not seen us do for a while. Burnley resorted to clogging which was disappointing but considering their position it shows what a good outfit we are becoming. Mancienne was a different class again, we need to get him signed.

I was at the game last night, pretty dull affair but I thought Reading probably shaded it. The sending off was funny, we were close enough to kind of hear what he said. He gobbed off a lot to the effect that he would have the linesman after the match! He must have known he wouldnt get away with that! Poor night all round for him, the own goal was just bizare!!!

It was a good laugh, I only go to games every now and again - when I get free tickets!! But it was a good night!

Hypia rejected a dream move to the brit last season, so why would he reject stoke and go to wolves ?

Sammi Hypia is still a good player at the top level imo..

Surely everyone has the same hopes of staying up in their first season back in the Prem.
Just hope we get some players that have had previous experience in the top league.

Good luck to Wolves, you have a good manager in M.McCarthy and a good squad with which to build on. As a Sunderland fan I never thought we should have got rid of Mick considering that our squad from last season still contained a lot of the signings he made on the cheap.

Sorry to say but...Wolves will be straight back down again.

They have been up before and know the score, yet what signings have they done over the close season?

The team is nowhere good enough to get a mid season finish at the moment.

Really really hope they get some good players in before the season starts, as the board promised.
