As good and effective as Chelsea were last night, it was also interesting to see Barcelona struggle.
They are a fantastic passing team, but they simply don't have a "Plan B" when they can't get through you.
It was a bit like watching a wasp trying to get through a slightly open window and it just keeps on flying into the glass because it doesn't know to try anything different.

betfair chaps - as you know i put 2x£10 bets on last night and my net profit was around £19 something so i now have £29 something in the account. trying to transfer this back into my bank account but it seems to only want to let me do £20 at most? any ideas why?

Did you use a "free" bet? If so you don't get your stake back.i just f

I hope RDM stays, but I also hope he's allowed to phase out the older players. AVB had the right idea but he went about it in entirely the wrong way. He should have sold all the old players if he wasn't going to even try and man manage them. He made his players his adversary whereas RDM has made them understand the plan, and has rested the older players in key games, eg Lamps v Benfica.Either way good to see an English team in the final well done.

Any team that would try and play Barca at their own game at the Nou Camp would be committing suicide. It wasn't awful at all, it was bloody heroic. What is awful is sideways passing against 10 men for most of the game, and not winning the tie. RDM got his tactics spot on, Guardiola didn't.

There could well be a win through, meaning you have to bet x number of times your stake before you can withdraw the full amount.

that could make torress who will surely start the final - happy for lamps and sad for ivan and mereiles who gave everything. Drog looked wasted when he came off....
I think whom ever you play in the final you will need a similar performance - cahill and luiz might be fit for then....
RE: neville - I think he has surprised alot of ppl with him comments ad he was genuinely "pleased" for chelsea at the end - you got the luck (penalty miss) and a stronger than usual ref.
sadly Kalou might play in the final though - and you'll be starting as underdogs against either team tbh...REal & jose - mouthwatering prospect....Bayern at home in the champsleague final - daunting prospect...both teams are sooo good.

Have seen Barca play 3 times in the last week, and they were so so boring (yes I said boring !!) tip tap tip tap.. it gets annoying after awhile, teams have learned you dont chase them all over the pitch, you stand there in a defensive line and they are happy to tip tap tip tap at the edge of the box for 90 mins !!
