Feck me! I was sort of wanting a Bayern win but Chelsea won me over in the game, I even let out a little celebration when Drogba equalised. Huge congratulations to Chelsea, I can't believe you've finally done it

As I said, nitpicking. So did Roy Keane in 99 - He had the class not to wear his strip and in the main stayed out of the way! Anyway apart from JT well done Chelsea and especially Di Matteo

I didn't see a problem with Terry lifting it, he's Chelsea through and through and certainly did his bit before the final.

Well done Chelsea and (aside from Tottenham fans, who perhaps had a reason), boo hoo to all the English fans cheering Munich!
Really great to see the Premier League continue its success in Europe.

If UEFA had refused Terry he wouldn't have gone up. UEFA have apparently softened their attitude...that's not Terry's fault or Chelsea's Sorry, but I won't have the words "Keane" and "class" together in the same sentence. The only player I know to DELIBERATELY go out to end another's career. Terry is no angel, but Keane, a complete scumbag.

He's an idiot as many other people have also said. He contributed hugely to us being there. He led the team as captain. He made many a goal line clearance and defended brilliantly on the "long road to Munich". The final was just the culmination of that journey of which he was a vital part. He was only kept out of it because of a silly mistake for which both he and Chelsea were punished. We still came through, due to the never-give-up attitude of the team, which he instilled in the team as captain. The man is a lion on the pitch and a natural leader. He deserved this as much as anyone else in the team. In fact to be honest, he deserved it more than some of them! Oh, and I notice nobody is b hing about Meireles, Ivanovich and Ramires putting on their kit and collecting the trophy! It's just the usual anti-JT brigade trying to stir it. That's one way of looking at it. However, as I see it from neutral eyes, he's a piece of s t. His antics ruinned the celebrations of a fantastic game. Honestly, running on the pitch in his full kit boots and all. Why couldn't he fpor once in his worthless life have maintained some dignity and worn a club jacket and tie? He didn't play, and everyone knows it, he's not fooling anyone. He's an utter cockend. Hopefully, now he's finished f king his mate's girlfriends and calling people racial names, we'll see him behind bars.

You think there should be prison sentences for calling someone a ginger, (rearrange as required)? As for f king his mates girlfriends... He didn't did he? Wasn't Bridge split up with his?

Can I also ask how he's gonna end up 'behind bars'? Isn't the worse case scenario for this racial charge a fine?

TheHeretic said: As for f king his mates girlfriends... He didn't did he? Wasn't Bridge split up with his? Absolutely. EX GIRLFRIEND. The whole thing was a fuss over nothing. None of Wayne Bridge's business what his EX GIRLFRIEND does, and none of our business what kind of relationship JT & his wife have. A friend of mine married an ex girlfriend of mine. I'm delighted for them both, she's a lovely girl (just wasn't right for me) and he's a great bloke. They are both very happy.

CIE560 said: It's a shame the talk in here isn't about the game last night Indeed. It's a total nonissue brought up by people wanting to rain on the parade. I couldn't care less about his antics. He's the same as many other PL players in that regard and if he is guilty of racism then he'll get what he deserves. Anyhow the game was another legendary rearguard action, brilliant and brave performances from Cahill, Cole who was amazing, and Luiz. His penalty was so cool (Luiz). Drogba is a legend. It matters not one bit what people here think, he's a God in Africa for good reason and he's a thoroughly good chap.
