It wasn't until later on in the game that I realised that all the other pub patrons were Reds, they seemed quite quiet. After the second Liverpool goal went in the returned to form, one chap thought Fellaini was an Italian **** and an older gentleman suggested Cahill should *** off back to Africa.
Bugger. That is all I have to say. Quite disappointed in the performance, to be honest. We have played far better in the season. The Distin pass back was schoolboy. Well done to the reds though. I think they wanted it more. Haven't read anything, but where was Drenthe? Another thing, where the buggery were the subs? an 88th minute sub with Victor was far too late. I thought he would bring on some fresh legs at about the 60-70 minute mark. Poor tactics by Moyes, methinks. Still there is always next year, isn't there?

And I was refering to the constant Andy Carroll gif's and jokes. Nothing to do with Everton.
But I guess you missed that.
Oh and the fact you wrote it after reading this thread makes you a ....

Seem to be having a lot of issues with him. He went missing for a few games for 'family reasons' but many rumours about discipline, etc. Shame, as we could have done with him on the field. TheHeretic said:

I did wonder why he didn't play, decent talent but seems to be dogged by problems off the pitch.
I'd rather take Peanuts given the choice, to be honest. He is good, but he is very much an on-off player. Has some definite ability though, I just don't think Moyes is the type to abide ego or indiscipline.TheHeretic said:

Wages will, I presume, be either a stumbling block for some clubs, or whether he values himself for CL, etc? Who knows. After the latest episode, I'm not sure we should gamble on him. There was talk of you guys going for him.
Peanuts was sold for 3.5. Now if Redknapp goes, then maybe the next manager would want to keep him, or maybe we will be able to get him back for the same or a bit more, after all, he played very little for Spirs, and wasn't seemingly appreciated there. It is difficult to say. It does, I think, show the danger of greener grass, however. Dan Gosling, (a hero at Everton for obvious reasons, as well as the magnificent timers at ITV), went after a verbal agreement issue, and he went to Newcastle, where he has played very little. Would he have been better off staying? I think so, and the same happened to Peanuts. Would he be demanding silly wages? Would he prefer to get games, and be an integral part of a team, rather than a bystander? Who knows. Either way, I want him back at the club.

Didnt realise Drenth was on a free in the summer, I remember when he was touted as being a fantastic talent, didn't he come from Ajax or one of the famous Dutch talent conveyor belts. Shame as he seemed to have talent before his move to RM, Peanuts was sold for 3.5. If you can get peanut back for 3.5m then that would be a great signing, he's very good for Everton and ever really had a chance at spurs.
Moyes failed to stop Liverpool playing in our half in the second half. he should have strenghtened the attack a lot earlier.
Coleman should have go a red, added nothing to the game for us, gave Liverpool the goal.
We lost because we didnt put any pressure on their third in line goal keeper in the second half. Bringing on Anichebe when the game was over showed Moyes wasn't thinking properly. Bet he would have settled for Pens at half time, no ambition to win it in 90.
Liverpool stumbled into another final, yet again. Even their prize donkey eventually scored after missing two or three guilt edge chances. Was that a tactic? Give it to Carroll in the box over and over, he wont score?
Sad for Distin. Good player, should have just hoofed the ball up the line, but knew it would come straight back at us because we were not holding the ball further up the field.

That was probably the hardest of the three wins that the mighty Liverpool have got this season over you lot.
You are getting better.
Not sure Moyes got this right as the game moved on, he should have changed things but didn't. Rather than go on and win the game he was happy to try and stop us from winning - imo.
You must have the best squad of the last few seasons at present, right?

Don't patronise, you're not smart enough for that. The fact is that Moyes set the team up to contain Liverpool, Jelavic was isolated and in the second half we posed no threat at all, spineless performance and I'm afraid that Moyes has to be culpable. You lot are nowhere near the sum of your parts or your spend, without Gerrard and Suarez I don't think you have much to offer, so unless your owners (who decided to fly back to watch the Red Sox on Saturday) get their cheque books out again I can't see you breaking into the top 4, which let's face it, is what football is all about these days (sadly). You are getting better.

Red sox had the first home game of the season. They'll be at the final I am sure, they made it to the last one to see us win a trophy. The money might drive the clubs towards the top four fight but being in any final and winning is still what football is about, isn't it?(Not one bitter joke)
