GLENRED said: Rodwell few agreed with Citeh That's fine. I'd rather Rodwell go than Baines. Rodwell has shown flashes, but very injury prone, and when he did play last year he wasn't that great to be honest. I think the likes of Duffy, and Barkley are going to be better prospects. I wonder what the fee is?

Where do you think you need to strengthen? I would imagine it would be in that region, maybe more. Strengthening wise, a right back would be nice to have, (although Hibbo still does this job very well). Apart from that, happy with the defense, and midfield. Up front, we have Jelevic, Naismith, Anichebe, Velios. Quote happy as is, to be honest.

GLENRED said: Rodwell few agreed with Citeh David Moyes last December said: David Moyes has said Everton do not have to appease the banks by selling Jack Rodwell in January but admits the club's financial position leaves them vulnerable to big offers for their coveted players. The tv deal is bigger than ever, clubs like Everton shouldn't have to sell the best players they produce. (He joined Everton aged 7) Will Moyes get the money £15/£20m?

I think it is a case of cashing in while he has value. He hasn't really shone that much when played, and has been injured a lot. I don't think we have been forced to sell, we just see the cash as better than what they may see as a diminishing asset. I hope he does well there, to be honest, but whether he gets any games remains to be seen.

He should have been in team GB - he was the kits poster boy. His value could go up age 21.

FairPlay, no replacement for Cahill or Drenthe? Maybe a winger? Well, we have cover in most areas. Apparently the fee was 15million. Not too shabby. A few players coming through this year. Barkley, Coleman, etc. Fellaini, and Naismith will slot into Cahills position. We have a chap called Junior who is a tricky little fellow, who would fit in where Drenthe went, (would have liked him to stay, but too much trouble). So, not drastic purchases required, in my opinion. I'd rather keep the cash and see what is available in January.

GLENRED said: Good call Well, he is not a huge name, truth be told, but his loan periods where he only played 6 or 7 games for us, he really was superb. Could get him cheap as well, as I think he is in the last year of his contract. So, cheap, or free next year? Who knows. Could give us a bit of extra cash with US shirt sales, especially with Howard in the team too.

Although sorry to see good players go ,it does not realy suprise , it was always going to be hard to keep all our players for next season, Daved will wave his wand with a bit of pocket money he gets from him ,and we will not miss him,;)

The squad's looking good. Donovan would be great, if the price (given his age) is right.

It's all a bit depressing though isn't it? I love my team but I'm losing interest in footy these days, it really has got out of control, Wolves turning down £12m for Fletcher just sums up how ludicrous the game has become. Good business on Rodwell, but the Manchester and London clubs are running the game now, the rest of us, with the exception of LFC (if they get CL this time) are just making up the numbers.

Rumouroids don't seem to be going regarding Mirallas. Apparently coming to Finch Farm today or tomorrow. Looks quite good apparently, which means we won't get him.

Well, apparently we have got him, according to talksport! Supposed to me Ronaldo-esque, but as with any Everton buy, can he keep that reputation up on the field? Only time can tell! 5million, or there abouts, apparently. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/pr...YouTube clips never tell the whole story, but this one is doing the rounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NmMJI2MDY4Looks like he has ability, it is whether it is all show, and no go. Time will tell,IF he passes a medical.
