Good hit skipper!

And I know you've a reputation for being a schoolboy so I doubt you've been aware of football long enough to know anything other than City being the dominant Manchester team.

Utd are Champions and even my daughter knows that. She's 1.

And the season before it was City...and this season there's only 1 team in Manchester.

Even CIE knows that and he's 9.

hehe

Come on, can you imagine a Gooner posting that on the Spuds thread (or vice-versa)?

I'd rather see us beaten 10-0 than help the Arse to the title. Which, with the way we've been playing lately.....laugh

Surely the blue-noses feel the same?
The crucial piece of the jigsaw you're missing in your analogy is you winning to get in the CL but helping the Goons win the title, or losing 10-0, losing out on CL, but Goons don't win the title.

In my more accurate analogy - which would you choose? Goon title and Spud CL, or no Goon title and Eurjoka Spud oblivion?
The analogy is flawed though. Everton beating City does not constitute definite ECL qualification for Everton.

But, in answer to your hypothetical question, if Spurs had a team I thought could realistically compete in the ECL and not exit (albeit gloriously) in say the last 16 then I'd want Spurs to get in, obvs.

Failing that there are no circumstances under which I would want the Goons to win the EPL.

Quick point: If you put that exact question to a Rangers/Celtic fan how do you think they'd answer?
I'm guessing im was held back at school??

I know the season is not over yet, but so far in terms of performances, my high point was against Arse, my low point Sunderland at home. Player wise, my high is the emergence of Stones and my low the horrific Oviedo injury. Do others concur?

Pretty much what you've said mate, is there any news on Oviedo's progress yet?

Was wondering about that while watching the match, especially as RM is talking about moving Baines into the centre. Personally don't think we will see him until next season, great little player though and another excellent Moyes signing.

Hi point, looking back ,getting our new manager,
+1 How hate getting beat by them. But as said what a great appointment RM was, there are a few clubs who are very envious. COYB

Having spanked the Goons I'd now like your season to fall apart...in the nicest possible way of course biggrin

We should beat Sunderland, they can't score at the moment and after the thumping from Spuds they are there for the taking. However……….this is Everton.

And as everyone on this thread knows, we can always be relied on to snatch defeat, from the jaws of victory!

In all seriousness though, I think we'll come away with a win. wink

Think we will run them off the park. Mr Martinez will have them firing on all to show Arsenal that it is out of their hands. Arsenal are psychologically fragile and there for having their heads bent. COYB! 4-1 it is then!
