I thought Alcarez was woeful on Saturday (goal apart), his performance affected Stones in my opinion and it has caused me to reflect on our revered manager's ability to spot a good defender. I know Alcarez has hardly had a run of games, but I do worry that RM decided to bring him across from Wigan and suffer the wrath of the great Dave Whelan (he broke his leg in a cup final you know). With all this talk of a massive transfer kitty and RM wanting 7 new players I am beginning to worry, maybe Moyes could return to play a SAF avuncular type role for us and direct him towards the next Coleman/Baines type bargain. While I am rambling, I have to laugh at all the RS peddling out the line about how much Chelsea's squad cost to assemble, as though their own band of brothers was assembled on a shoestring, they really are the most deluded bunch, it must be the Norwegian air they all breath. Come on City.

Well boys it's steaming here in downtown Marrakech to bloody hot for me. Blue I agree 100 per cent re Alcaraz I don't think Stones as faith in him it really unnerved him. I think RM will have to think again if Distain is not fit for Saturday With Arse winning last night it my well be forget the strongest side for Citeh and get some players back for the Hull game to secure some points. We don't want to lose out to Spuds now.

Now look you lot, your job is to go out & beat City, then win your last game to do Arsenal for 4th as they are bound to slip up! How good would it be to see Wengers mug in deepest darkest Russiaon a Thursday night while the red & blue of Liverpool have CL games?! wink

You know it makes sense!

Never understood supporters who'd rather see their team fail than ours succeed. A chance to finish top 4 going in to the last game of the season. Every Everton player will be trying their hardest just to have a chance of Champions League.

no we will beat hull(do the sums) so we can go into micky mouse Europe if that's what the fans want . personally as ive said would much rather win some home trophys, we are just about holding our own in one competition let alone 20 odd games in the Europa and 3 more competitions, and we all know Arsenal will not loose again this season, but hey ho ,it makes good discussion.

Nor me, but it happens and it's certainly not exclusive to Everton.

Anyone else hear Alan Brazil this morning saying that an announcement on investment from Abu Dhabi is imminent, or did I dream it?

Jags is back in the squad, and Distin has a slight chance, but Jags/Stones will probably be OK, Barry can't play so I expect that McCarthy will drop back and hopefully he'll give McGeady a start, with Lukaku and Duffelcoat leading the line......
