Couple of blatant points from me.

Robles isn't and never will be a Premiership Goalkeeper.
Ditto Alcarez. Not good enough.
Distin legs have gone so if he doesn't have Jags there he looks exposed.
Barkley has to start every game if he's fit. He lifts us.

We need to get rid of our manager. He's rubbish. Last season was a blip. We need someone like Simone. Our manager shouldn't be trusted with transfer money.
We need three new defenders. Ours are rubbish.
We need some new midfielders. Ours are rubbish.
We need to get rid of three of our strikers and we need to buy proven 25 goals a season strikers.
We need to buy success at any price.
As supporters, we need to complain and whine more, and we need to fight amongst ourselves.
We need at least seven more volumes of bullst on our thread.
We need a slogan that actually means nothing when it comes to loyalty and togetherness.

Forget all that, I don't want to 'support' Liverpool. wink
If yours and hillys stuff is banter then it aint very good! wink

Its all a bit bizarre really.
Yay we won and at least we aren't liverpool.
Perfect weekend as the red ste lost.
It goes on and on and on, just relentless ste. I don't understand how you can be only happy if we lost, regardless of whether you won or not, just seems very strange. The only time i give a crap whether you win or lose is if it affects our position in the table, not because you are the blue side of merseyside.

The thing is curlie you probably don't grasp how much Everton fans (especially those born in Liverpool) hate Liverpool , its been like that since I was a boy, which is a long time, I think it was magnified after Hysel, to say there is no love lost is an understatement ,why do you think they call us the bitters.

Oh know it's there, similar to other clubs rivalries but I don't think I will ever 'get' it like you say.
I just think rivalries that get people so angry with such hatred are simply bizarre, particularly when it's the young supporters and they are told that they must act in this way.
Also it's made even more bizarre with the abuse everywhere but then the same folk will have a good Friend etc from the opposing team.
It's all nuts is this supporting lark!

Everyone of those points are bang on. We should have never let Lescott slip through our fingers

Disagree with this. With a more confident defence, he will shine. Ben Watson got the acclaim for our FA Cup victory but Robles was our star man that game.

I think playing it out from the back caught a few teams unaware last season and did work for us.

This season it's as though they're expecting it now and are over us like a rash before we get out of our own third. It needs mixing up a bit and relax the orders on seemingly not being allowed to send the occasional long ball up to try and start something.

Apart from Ross, it's also pitiful when any of our lads get the ball in the opponents last third, it's always 50/50 it'll end up back with Howard or Robles.

To play from the back constantly like Madrid do for instance takes players with the confidence and skill Madrid have..........Coleman's main attribute is being wasted with this style of play for one thing.

Agreed. The defenders we have aren't quite up to handling the pressure they're being put under when they have possession on the edge of the area and it's going to get worse now that the word's out. My own view is that we should stick with RM but he might have to take a breather on the playing it out from the back; occasionally they just need to to get rid. We also don't seem to be getting the best out of Lukaku.

Keepers in relegation teams look better than they are because they are making 15 saves a match. He's getting found out at a team where expectation is higher.

Technically he is very poor. The goal conceded against Newcastle where it went through the legs was a prime example. His feet were planted wide and he couldn't push off and react. I was a professional GK for 8'years so I look at the position differently to others.

I suppose we are fortunate that the teams below us (Hull apart) failed to win. not panicking yet, but we do need to start picking up some points, I wouldn't mind betting we will beat West Ham tuesday
