Yes a bit of a relief but we missed so many chances today. We really have struggled this season..

Pleased that this miserable season is almost over and that we are 'safe', 12 months ago our current plight would have been unthinkable. Just musing over who we will jettison/sell over the summer, for me Kone, Alcarez, Distin, Barkley, Miralles, McGeady, Naismith, Hibbert and Piennar. This is not a wish-list, simply my take on who we will let go and those that we won't be able to refuse selling.

The way Ross has been playing whether is own fault or RM he has not put himself in the shop window. most of the others mentioned will go I am sure. Gibson should go, the wages we have paid him for 4 games a season he is a liability.

Well done chaps, pissed off that you've pushed the Hammers down to 11th but it will be fun to see Van Gaal's attempts to wriggle out the interview later! Last week was hilarious as he got more annoyed with the interviewer asking him simple questions !

Brilliant result, well played, great stuff.

From team in the league behind Arsenal now, nice to see a strong finish.

Funny how our form is the reverse of Liverpool's.... If they had our form they'd be dreaming of letting the title slip by a point again this year,.....hehe

34 % possession & you win 3-0 against the years biggest spenders ?

Funny old game at times isn't it .

you will do well to keep hold of that young Stones fellow in the summer.

If ever there was a formula to Utd that was it. Perfect hit and run. Well done to the boys. You have to say that Europa league did us no good at all. I think it's time it went back to knockout format lose and you are out, as Collymore said it would do away with those games in the back of beyond that ment nothing but you still have to do.

The Europa League is a strange one, we lost away to Spurs in November 3 days after playing Lille (I think), but Spurs had also played an EL Game, we then didn't have another EL game until February, but our form through December and Jan was rubbish, so can we really blame the EL?

I thought we looked very solid yesterday, if we can keep this run going it will be a major positive going into next season, reminds me a little of when Kendall turned the corner in 1984, we won the cup and carried our form into the next season and beyond, but football was a different game back then. I can see serious bids for Stones, McCarthy, Lukaku and Barkley in the summer.

I think Villa might just have the edge over us tomorrow they will want it so much, can see it being a cracking game though. COYB

0-2 to Sunderland I think it's safe to say our lads are on the beach. I think the club should not pay them playing like they are. They get to safety then perform like this. .

That was a dreadful performance and a clear sign that a clear out is needed.

Yes and we only got two bookings ,maybe we should have got a couple of our players sent off ,as we are in the run in for an extra place in the Europa next season ,topping the fair play league with West ham .
