Indeed a painfull read and a lot of truth in it. We seem to drift on getting good results keeping the fans happy and on edge one minute then bang utterly crap results (Sunderland ) and back to normality. He is quite right when he states the Club know we will never turn our backs on it as its in our blood.

Well that's one season to forget. Plenty of entertainment on the Red thread, going to be 40 pages over the next three days of argument, expert comment on how it should be done.

Sad news announced today. Andy King, 58, dies after a heart attack.

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/foot...

Decent scoring record for a midfielder and remember him scoring a beauty into the top corner at Goodison Park, a contender for Goal of the Season.

RIP Andy

He wore number 7 when he scored the goal that brought us our first derby win in seven years, it was in the 58th minute, he was 58 when he died. Proper Everton legend, RIP

So I see we have signed Tom Cleverley from July 1st. Thoughts?

I'm ok with Cleverley, he just might flourish now he's back with RM and closer to home, for a free it's a good deal as far as I'm concerned. I would love us to get Sako from Wolves and Delefou back permanently, add another CB and a decent striker and see hat Booby Brown Shoes can do.

Footballs worse kept secret, all agreed in principle in January.
Sherwood taking over put a small spanner in the works when he offered decent wages to keep him.
I`m expecting one major out, two if we don`t play our cards right. rolleyes

Gibson and Mcarthy already for holding CM. Why sign Cleverly who plays similar position?

As aside I see Villa are for sale, Est £150m. Or £50m less than us with a far better stadium that doesn't need rebuilding/relocating. No wonder no one wants to take us over.

The fact is that Lerner wants to sell and Bill doesn't, he keeps telling us that you'll never find a better salesman for EFC than him and in the same breath that no-one is buying football clubs, one way or the other he is spinning us all a yarn.

I agree but the clubs are comparable on history and size but he wants £50m less. Can't be right.
