Very impressed with Delefou, he looked every bit the team player last night and I hope he can build on this, would be great to see him and Miralles lining up together. It would be wrong to come down too hard on Mori, but he does have a whiff of carthorse about him, better after the break but I don't yet see why he cost almost 10m. Now for the derby.

Agree. It feels like a long time since we put out a full bore team. Always an injury or suspension. See what we can do with a proper first team against the ste. Ruskie said:
First time for years I have approached the Derby with anticipation. I fancy us to give them a hefty beating. Not enough to get Agent Rodgers the sack tho!
They are just about a mid table side of late, living on memories of yesteryear. I also fancy us on Sunday we just have to go at them from the start.DuncanM said:
Don't forget that the majority of last season you guys looked like a team fighting relegation, short memories methinks.
If there is one thing Evertonians cannot be accused of it is short memories! Why else would we constantly be referred to as 'bitters', you can't have it both ways and if you think we are crowing you are tragically mistaken. We know that we are enjoying a little run of form but we are equally aware that it will all come crashing down at some point, probably tomorrow, the fact that we've only won 3 out of the last 31 derbies tells you all you need to know. Personally I have decided to go play golf and get as far away from it all as possible, on my return home if my wife has drawn the curtains it will be a signal that we have lost and I will reverse out of the drive and go to the pub to cheer myself up. If the curtains are open the game will have been drawn and I will go to pub as it will be 'safe' and if she's ripped the curtains from the rail I know we have lost so badly that the only course of action is to go to the pub.
