We know that we are enjoying a little run of form but we are equally aware that it will all come crashing down at some point, probably tomorrow, the fact that we've only won 3 out of the last 31 derbies tells you all you need to know. Personally I have decided to go play golf and get as far away from it all as possible, on my return home if my wife has drawn the curtains it will be a signal that we have lost and I will reverse out of the drive and go to the pub to cheer myself up. If the curtains are open the game will have been drawn and I will go to pub as it will be 'safe' and if she's ripped the curtains from the rail I know we have lost so badly that the only course of action is to go to the pub. COYB
I hope you will leave the car at the Pub. I say that because you will be so pissed celebrating our win COYB

My best mate is a red and every derby day we get together to watch the game, I am so fed up with going home with piss take ringing in my ears! I still haven't gotten over the 4-0 thrashing in 2014 censored

So tomorrow it would be nice to break with tradition and win for a change, but i'm not holding my breath.

4-0 Liverpool, hat trick for Sturridge and a 25 yard screamer from Coutinho wink

Managers do not seem to last long at Liverpool anymore, just one more reason why they are just a average mid table club now.

Just my observations from how you are doing currently, and what you have achieved over the last 4 years. No more no less

You have had 5 crap seasons me old china

I know for the most part we are just above a mid table side. The point is Liverpool are also, its just too much for you to bear and admit. Living on 70s and 80s memories and think you have a divine right to be a top four side

biggrin

Hilly you are pure entertainment! When was the last time you played in the CL? When was the last time you won ANYthing?

Being an LFC fan is bittersweet tbh, every summer I think we're going to turn things round, and sometimes we get close, sometime we have a bad season and still outpoint you lot tongue out.

A note to fellow blues to doff your caps to Gordon Honeycombe, a big Evertonian who passed away yesterday. Worth reading his obituary, he had a fascinating life and among many other achievements he co-wrote 'The Golden Vision' a groundbreaking docu drama named after the one and only Alex Young. RIP Gordon.

I wonder if he was watching over Ross last night?

RIP to Gordon. I think Gordon must have watched over him and inspired him. He did play well last night.
