Hopefully he can attract more investment. He's best mates with Alisher Usmanov FFS who owns 30pc of Arsenal. Lend us a tenner Alisher?
This could be very very good for us. BK staying around to help guide the transition. New stadium? fk it build it on Stanley Park. Also means we might be able to hang onto some of out best players.
Oh and we're apparently richer than the redste now! Lol.
Apparently Usmanov doesn't get on at all with Stan Kroenke, maybe he will cash in his Arsenal shares too and come join his buddy at Goodison? This could be very very good for us. Having read more it may be a cunning plan for Usmanov to go for a takeover bid at Arsenal which is triggered at 30% as he didn't have 30% before?

Got to be good new surely, what Everton have needed for some time and now football money makes any EPL look an attractive prospect
Great news. The EPL, the freak show, the battle of the billionaires, some bored others trying to cash in on TV rights and dimwitted fans paying £100 a match, all for an ever rising spiral of transfer fees and wages.
The EPL is getting more plastic by the season.

True words, it is a shame any club has to become a rich man's plaything to compete, however we can now compete I hope, so COYB! Only thing that troubles me about our new investor is that he doesn't hold a majority stake, if I was going to throw £100m into something I would want control. So either he is reckless, the story is BS or he is going to get more shares imminently.
IN an article I read it does say he's the majority shareholder, but I thought he'd need 50.1% for that. Odd. Largest shareholder perhaps....?TTmonkey said:

No he is the single largest, but doesn't have control. EFC financial and share dealings are always shrouded in secrecy and there seems to be very little detail in terms of whose shares have been acquired, the guess is that it is Robert Earl is out completely with BK and John Woods selling some of theirs. It is impossible to imagine that Moshiri would be happy with the deal as it stands, so we must assume that an agreement is in place to gain a controlling interest at some point. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but as usual with my beloved club, there are rather more questions than answers!
