A sad day at Goodison when a win still results in the most (only) noise from the home fans was the post-match protest. Goals aside, it's the quietest I have ever heard the place though perhaps that was in part because I was in the away section making a racket through the whole game. A good win though far from convincing and it could just as easily have been 2-2 or 1-2. In the second half both team seemed to be trying to make as many misplaced passes as possible.
Was at the game today. Just got back in time to see us last on MOTD. Thank fk we are always on last.
Today I was proud to be a blue. The standing ovation the Hillsborough famlies got was one of the most amazing things I've witnessed at any match. We are pure class.
Everton were pretty ste. Glad to have 3 points. 2nd half much better than the first. It was good to see Tim play.
Stupid protest planned for the 81 min with tennis balls. Wtf? Fly past was amusing but we were winning by then so wtf.

Agree. Was there to witness a rather subdued affair ,rather moving the ovation the Hillsborough families got, RM gave each and every one a hug as they came off, the fans around us in the main stand seem to have a lot of respect for him , whether we think he should stay is another question,
No sign of any protest in the ground until after the Finish ,a handful of fans having a sing song in the St End.
He aint going any where until the season is over, so RM out banners are rather pointless from 50 fans when we had 34000 fans in there
ps does Ross want to play for Everton what a load of st.

Very sad season to reflect on, our manager has sounded increasingly stupid as the months have passed (I cannot forgive him that) and most of the players (Lennon and some kids are the exception) have been under performing. Such a let down, but it looks for all the world like a clear out is needed and though I think Martinez is a cock, I have some sympathy for him. The news tonight is that he is gone, all interweb hearsay but surely the board have to accept that the game is up now. Adios Roberto

He has been on about the celebratory moment being partly to blame for the defeat at the weekend, Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
