Walsh. Interesting and I didn't think we would get him, but money seems to talk.

Crazy that all of a sudden we've got a few quid and people are interested.

FFS I hope this translates into results. I'm still not convinced we've appointed the right manager. Time will tell.

Suppose we've got to start somewhere. I just realised how much of an entitled RS I sounded with that comment.

3-0 over the mighty Barnsley today. I did enjoy his comments post match... We dont want to any passes back to the keeper! Much more like it.

Nice to see David Moyes has got the Sunderland Job,

Daily Excess saying we're interested in Swansea City's Gylfi Sigurdsson for around £25m

£25m bid accepted for Witsel apparently, up to the player if he wants to come

I don't know much about him (or many of the names we have been linked with), but I fully expect to see things happening once the Stones and Lukaku saga's are sorted. If we can get north of £100m for those two I would gladly take it, while I think they are good players I don't think they're THAT good. I understand we are asking City to cough up the additional monies owed to Barnsley due to the sell on clause, cheeky but I like it if true.

There is talk of Bony being part of the deal with Stones, dunno how I feel about that

As I understand it the fee for Witsel was agreed a while back, its down to the player, his agent is still offering him around. We have put an offer on the table and have given him a deadline which I believe has passed, so unless something has changed its dead, but transfer situations can change.Might know something Tuesday.

Koeman has met and spoken to John Stones, there are photos doing the rounds, his position has not changed, he still wants out.

There is more chance of Rom signing a new contract than leaving last I heard.

If Rom does stay, Bony would be surplus to requirements, I would think

Niasse is going (fingers crossed!), which would leave Rom and Kone as our only out and out strikers. I don't rate Kone, so I'd say we'd need someone else. Bony did well at Swansea, but I don't really think he got too many chances at City to prove himself

I really can't get my head around the Niasse deal, something stinks. I'd like to see Rom gone along with Stones, he seems to be constantly on the back pages and I fail to see how it helps morale at EFC, I would have him out in a heartbeat. I fully understand that most of the top players are prima donna's but Rom and his dad take it too far.

Honestly, you've hit the jackpot with Steve Walsh. I've always liked Everton and I genuinely hope he can help you sign some stars in order to get back into the top 4.

That's very nice of you, I rather hope you manage to hang onto your better players, they should stick together for at least one more season to see how far they can take it. In other news, Arnautovic rumours are gathering pace, I think he'd be a steal at the price quoted and a good start to Steve Walsh's tenure. COYB

I have to say it would be sad to see Leicester fall apart after last season.

Seems he fancies Stoke as a better place to be than Everton

So what was to be learned from the game against MK Dons ,i know it was a pre season friendly and all that, but for a fair proportion of the game you could not see who was premiership and who was 1st division, thought the dons looked a bit fitter at times. Ross, daffodil and stones looked a differant class ,the rest so so ,a new influx of players is needed lets hope we get some talent soon , no sign of Rom ,maybe resting after a hard euros. But Coleman played, didnt notice much differance in tactics or the way we played compared to RM,s style of play, but when the subs came off they where told to warm down on the touchline for 10mins before they plonked there bums down in the dug out.
Plenty of Evertonians as usual ,the new goalie looked secure,oh and the new away kit is very nice.

Obviously the signing of the world class Joe Allen swung it. First choice at Stoke or back up to Kevin Mirallas. Best he stays with the in breds.
