More like League of "money please & fk the others "i'd say.I do think tis will happen sooner or later, but having just 18 teams to play in a season & every season will be as dull as dishwater.
If the teams that think they are too big to play the likes of Stoke, Bournemouth& the Shorpe's of this world then they can bigger off & our game would be better for it.

I know what I'd prefer to watch.

Except you forget that the vast sum of tv right money isn't because of the Bournemouth's, Stokes, Swansea's, Southampton's or even Everton or Tottenham.

I have friends who support Bournemouth, Spurs and Southampton (from the ones you mention) and I enjoy it when my side (Liverpool) play those sides and the ensuing banter. If Liverpool were one of the break away clubs I would have little interest in the games vs Barca, Bayern, PSG etc and less interest in the game in general.
So I would vote with my feet and cancel my sky sports subscription which I only keep due to EPL

IF 4 clubs break away Liverpool won't be one of them I don't think. However, Liverpool would then be in a great position to win the league, and might join the other clubs in a one out/one in promotion type scenario. Why has the Everton thread suddenly been infested with folk wanting to discuss a breakaway super league? You're all more than welcome, at least it's a distraction from the tedium of discussing our transfer misses. I personally think there's too much money in the PL, a lot of the pressure is coming from envious European clubs wanting a slice, wasn't so long ago that Celtic and Rangers were knocking on the door to join the PL, who would have them now?

Still a significant sum for most EPL squads. But it certainly is a lot money for by far most clubs in Europe, including those in for instance Spain and Germany. And think about the extra exposure in the world for the clubs and leaques that the CL generates, or even the ability to attract players. Part of the EPL tv rights money can be related to the exposure of EPL clubs and players in the CL.
Playing CL is vital for the big clubs.
But the foundation of a "Euro super league" will be another step in club elitism, diminishing Europe's other leagues and clubs even more.
A step by the way which the UEFA themselves began, by favouring the Italian, German, Spanish and English leagues in 2001 with anywhere between 3 to 5 CL spots, while the rest of Europe has to make due with 1, sometimes 2 or even 0 spots. Plus a large divide between EL and CL revenues, a factor 10 in the early years. Clubs like Barcelona, Real, Bayern, Juventus etc. are basically CL guaranteed, factor in the revenues over the past 15 years and it's no wonder that the CL has become so predictable.
UEFA has to make a choice, either go all the way to a Euro leaque (not lead by a Chinese or other marketing lead party) or go back to normality and base European football around the domestic leaques again.

Small hiccup with the medical, no surprise there with our medicals, 4yr deal, think Osman replacement and it feels a bit better
Good to see he survived the ducking stool that is an Everton medical. I'm happy with him, he breaks up play and wins the ball, if we get Williams and a marquee centre midfielder I will be ok with that for the back line, given the fact that Stones has gone.m3sye said:
Doesn't pretty much every player give the gate receipt to the charity they work with anyway? No bad thing surely?
Probably because now its a tax advantage to do so.... Used to be to buy them a pub in their retirement. Wonder what Wayne's charity is? Retired Hookers of Merseyside?
To be fair, yes, charity, all good. Thumbsup.
