Looks like Bolassie deal is done, he will add pace and will get the crowd going, crazy price it seems but I'm happy with this one. Much will hinge on Lukaku, after watching Kone yesterday it's clear we need another striker whatever happens with Rom, just hope it is not a last minute deal.

Just back from the Baggies, had a few jars in Brum before setting off on the train to my Staffordshire pile. Good result but I'm not getting carried away just yet, McCarthy was obviously played out of position but I wonder if he will be gone soon, he just doesn't get forward enough for me. We are crying out for another forward and creative midfielder, I like the look of Gueye and overall was impressed with Koeman's ability to change things around, big contrast with Martinez who looked clueless at times and overall I think with an addition or two we could be in for a good season, Stek looks a good keeper to me, but one performance is not enough to judge him by, but I think we look a lot stronger already. In other news we are finally being linked with a striker, Brahimi from Porto, I think we desperately need someone to share the burden with Rom as Kone is not PL standard and Delefou looked out muscled on Saturday. A season defining week I think, if we land Hart, Kone from Sunderland, a striker and maybe a creative midfielder I would really begin to believe times have changed.

Yes I think you are right, with those additions we will have strength in depth with people having to fight for a place. As to be right. COYB
