Don't we often lose when we play on Monday night?

From the BBC text commentary:

And here's a Sunderland debut for Jason Denayer. David Moyes goes to three at the back. That horse hasn't just bolted, it's a lasagne by the time that gate has been shut.

It would be 3-3 by now if Stones was playing.

Well done Blues, Rom as broken his duck just hope he kicks on. A lot of positives tonight, and Bolasie will show he is a handful and what do you say about Barry another rock solid performance. COYB

Rom will score big. Have faith. Form is temporary.
Said this four pages back.

Faith. Have it. Top 4 is possible this year if a couple of teams have crisis years.

Fantastic gesture from us to the little Sunderland mascot who as cancer. Just goes to show we are a family club. Well done Everton.

Great away performance and you can really see Koeman influence on the team.

Absolutely this, we have invited him to Goodison for the return and hopefully he can reach the target, proud moment last night when the news came through.

Early days but I reckon we have a clever manager who is prepared to make decisions and act promptly, complete contrast to the last bloke (forgotten his name), who used to stand there chewing his nails and watch the team capitulate. Barkley is becoming an enigma, looks to me like he doesn't know where to play and needs a lot of management if he is ever going to become a consistent performer, really hope he can get his head right.

I don't think Barkley is as good as all the hype, sure the odd flash of brilliance, but consistently gives the ball away and telegraphs passes, rarely creates space for himself, seems to play with his head down.

I really hope I'm proved wrong.

Will he get back in ? before he went off you were very average, then without him you are like a new team ...

He's been like this the last two years - gives the ball away all the time. Can do some stuff well but needs some coaching at this level. He cant handle a pressing midfield/defence, ok if they sit back he gets the time.

He needs to move on if he cant change. Not the promise of greatness people said he was, but I never bought into that anyway.

Expecting 3 points tomorrow, it has to be time to kick on and show real intention. It looks like Rom as rediscovered his goal touch, Barry is in great form and the defence looks solid. COYB
