Funny one tomorrow, it's a game we should win and a game we must win as I reckon it will really get the players, manager and supporters going. History tells me not to count my chickens though.

So far so good. If this doesn't end in a loss or a draw I'd say we have progressed since last year.

I was only able to listen on Talksport and catch up on MOTD, but it strikes me that there's a lot of confidence in the team, seem to have the ability to move up a gear when required which is a great attribute. All that said, the real test will be against Citeh in a couple of weeks, they look really strong so if we hold them or better I will start to believe that top 4 is within our grasp, till then I am just going to enjoy looking at the table.

You are indeed looking good.

Keeping hold of Lukaku was excellent work.

This is going to be the best premier league year ever i reckon.

We've had lots of reall good years over the past 12 years or so. Unfortunately, there always spanned two seasons, great in the last half of one season and the first half of the next, but usually finishing mid table ish.

We need to put together a great season not a calendar year.

We've get a run of 5 winnable matches going to the Man City game. We've won 2 of them, need to enter the City game on a wave of confidence.

City started last season with five or six straight wins didn't they?

And we need to officially change our name from "Everton Nil". This year it should be "Everton 3"

hehe

West Ham H

realistically if I were yourselves i'd be looking at 12 points there. I think your season is about keeping Lukaku fit. In form he will be able to get you 3 points in games.

I'm not going to get carried away, but I do feel that some of our wins so far this season would have been a draw at best last season. It's nice to get some points on the board and build some confidence early in the season though smile

Last year we would have been winning but then thrown away the advantage in the second half to draw or even lose....

We now have a manager who is adept to change things tactically during a game, where as the last one could not, also he will demand top performances by all

We also have a proper team spirit building, the senior pro's are behind Koeman, Martinez left them baffled and frustrated last term but now the likes of Baines, Barry and Coleman are back in form and it's no coincidence. It's a pity we didn't get another decent striker (jury out on Valencia) and a top keeper in the window, as I think we could really have a go at top 4 based on what I've seen, but an injury to Lukaku will hurt us I fear.

Thats the thing. We're winning the games we should. Not blowing 3 points or drawing from 2 nil up. For me thats whats really taken the piss over the years. The teams we should beat we dont then we roll Chelski over the next week.

Christ knows whats happening at manure.

Taxi for Moyes. Poor bloke.

Valencia starts, looking forward to seeing him play, if he's half decent it could make our season. Notice that Niasse getting good reviews for his performance in the U23's, very strange situation with him and one of those mystery transfers I will never understand, my take is it is backhanders and keeping agents happy/on side.
