No I don't think we want EL. But it looks like 7th is our top position this year, just wondering if there was any permutation on European qualification that might see us in.
Just thought I would share on here that there's a cracking article in The Grauniad today about Stan Bowles and his fight with Alzheimers, as his family look to QPR for support. It mentions the Golden Vision and points to the fact that because he was lucky enough to play for Everton he was looked after. I want to see us return to our rightful place but in the light of this and many other similar stories, I wonder if we are actually there already. Proud.

Big news from EFC this afternoon. Romelu Lukaku today informed club he does NOT want to sign new contract. More to come on @TeleFootball.

That's going to hurt if true. I have seen many reports recently that the d.eal was 99.9% done... I never trust any statement such as these, it's almost crying out for the guy to say I want yo leave. Been dreading this news, he want CL with top Euro club, he now as the best chance to get the Golden Boot with Kane out so he will go France or Germany methinks

Sounds like sour grapes to me.
He is a very good player and you would be quite a few places down the table with a different striker up front this season.
£140k/pw is not that crazy these days, we fans don't like it but how many proven high-scoring strikers in the EPL are on less than £100k-£200k ? It's what you have to pay to attract or retain the best and break into the top 4, which presumably is the aim of your new owner?
I'd like us to sign him for 50 and those wages but we can't guarantee CL either and offer the same unalluring home city
