Jim White is saying that he's spoken to Moshiri and he's not worried. We've got some time left on his contract, maybe if he sees a few big signings come in over the summer he'll stay

He is not going to China, and is not Suarez/Pogba
You seriously dont think PSG/UTD/CHELSEA would offer him that?

And if he moves on anywhere he is straight in on 250-300k a week I bet
He's good but he ain't THAT good. Misses as many as he scores from what I've seen.

Well fk me he must miss a lot then, you have seen his record havent you ?

He would go for around 70m and if you look at pogba on 290k a week he could easily get 250k a week

Pogba is a 'special' case though, only those muppets at OT would have paid that to 'bring him home' ...

Lukaku isn't worth the big money to me and yes, I am aware of his record (and also his misses)

So what would you say a 23 year old with a record like his is worth in today over inflated market (forget his misses as he has goals to back them up)

He's worth what anyone wants to pay, I was talking the big money wages.

He's worth 65 million I reckon. Age and potential in his side.

If we hold on too long his price might well go down. Sell when he's at the top of his value. Plenty of clubs out there need a powerful goal scorer that doesn't break when he trips over a blade of grass. What would sturridge be worth if he wasn't so injury prone? Probably more. Be hard to give him away with his wage demands I'm guessing.

If zlatan moves to the USA at the end of this season would United be interested?

Also, if he goes, good luck to him. He won't win the PL or CL with us, but could elsewhere. Let's be honest.

Neither of us knows but my 2c

I don't think Utd or Chelsea would go for him (not marquee enough however wrong that may be)
He has none of the PR appeal of a Pogba and half of the quality of Suarez so he won't get their wages
He has to be tempted from non-CL Everton and current wages (50k?) which is a low bar (no offence)
I reckon he could be bought 50-60 and 150/week unless a bidding war erupts but I don't see that

All IMHO

Anyway given current EPL wages Everton would be dumb not to give him 140k in return for decent contract length and buyout clauses. We pay Sturridge 150/week to warm the physio table every week!

I've read the transcript a couple of times and he is simply saying that the board needs to show more ambition, club living on past glories etc, not too far removed from Moshiri's comments about Everton being a museum. The media will put as much spin on it as possible to generate clicks and tales and encourage a few PHer's to dive into our little corner of the internet to wind us up. He's got over two years left on his contract and we are in a better place now than we have been for over 30 years, I believe events in the summer (signings and stadium) will have a major bearing on whether he agitates for a move or not, if the club don't match his ambition then fair enough. There's really only Chelsea, MU and City who can hold out these days,

That was in The Times this morning. He was saying that he spoke to Vincent Kompany and he was saying how quickly they bought players when they came in to money. It sounds like he's been frustrated by the lack of signings. Maybe Moshiri isn't concerned as we'll have a busy summer in the transfer market and thinks that will convince him to stay?

Id be worried if we battered out loads if cash quickly on iffy players. Moshi seems to fit the old Everton way which I like. Seems to be a man with a long term plan. Long term to me means considered and most importantly sustainable.

Plus, citeh spent £50m on stones ffs and christ knows how much the RS have spent on not winning a title over the years.

I keep googling Bramley Moore Dock to see if there is any news!

Oh I agree, but if we got 3 or 4 quality players in then it shows we're moving in the right direction. We need a keeper, central defender and forward at the minimum that could step straight in to the first team. Maybe then a kid with lots of potential and I'd be a happy bunny

Anyone else going?

Last time I went the game I watched Chelsea take us apart 5-0. I'm hoping this wont happen tomorrow.

Looking forward to it but less so the 600 mile round trip.
