Well, every other bugger is doing it, so why not... Granted, there are only 2 1/2 people on PH who support the Toffee's, but at least we can't be described as glory hunters... Anyway, awaiting the UEFA game on Fox soccer channel, but reading along on the text. Looks like a good game, but why the hell do we make it so difficult? As soon as we get an attacking team, our defence, which has been great the last few years, decide to start playing s  te. I don't think we'll be anywhere near relegation, but bloody hell, they really like to make it a trial! Yakubu looks like a bargain at 11 mill. 21 goals last season, and he's just got his 4th this season. Cahill is back, which is much needed, as is Peanut, as soon as he's fit.

So, gave away VERY soft goals... Lescott and Neville very much wanting for their first, and Yobo doing god knows what with their second. Still, at least our goals were fairly stunning. Yak's goal was sublime, and great passing from Arteta and Osman, and Cass... Bugger me, what a strike! Apparently Liege conceded 19 goals last season, and we scored 2 in 40 minutes. Not bad I think. Hopefully our form will continue, and we'll beat them at their gaff. Problem is that they might just park the bus... Damn the away goal rule!

Carn't see them just deffending but they are very quick on the break so could just use the counter. TBH I think you will have a very tough time getting passed them.

Comical defending last night! God knows what lescott was doing  . O and your team lost me £200 so i may have a drive to the everton training ground later find lescott and ask him for the money or  Other than that not a bad game last night by far one the top teams in the uefa cup this year!, they give liverpool a scare!

It looks like Lescot and Yobo are well out of form i think being Internationals has gone to there head a bit , drop them both .

I reckon we should move Lescott over to centre back, and brink in Baines to replace him. Yobo seems to be very suspect at the moment.

Wonder what the record is for own goals in consecutive matches in English football ,thats three we have , not much else worth mentioning about our lot, think[gollom] he put Lescot on the bench mind.

we are not playing well but we are still 9th ,may have a little flutter on this years F.A cup we are due a good cup run, and getting some players back now after inuries ect.

Still 9th, but we haven't played any 'top' teams yet. We are struggling with teams that we should be able to beat.

We need to tighten up at the back and Howard seems a bit reluctant to come for crosses at the mo. It's so frustrating as we've proved can play some great football and score goals (Saha looked good, fingers crossed) but we need to tighten it up at the back and Lescott has been useless defensively but has been good in an attacking way!!
