On his recent form I don't blame hime, so he missed, Baines has been woeful recently, hence why Berkley stepped up for the first free kick and the one he did take on the left was dire!

I think that perhaps a lot of the players might have lost faith with baines over the last few weeks. Perhaps this was just it. A few minutes before the penalty, baines took a bloody awful corner didn't he? Straight off side, mistake of epic ineptitude.

Sky analyzed it to death but it looked like Naismith, Lukaku and someone else were all telling M to give it to B

losing faith with RM now, nice guy but really wonder what he is thinking of if he doesn't sign cover for Lukaku and Kone now that Sam has gone. I am beginning to question the signing of Lukaku, could we have brought in 2 or 3 quality players without risking the spirit of the squad? I loved what we did at the time but now feel it was a mistake, bring back Gordon Lee.

I think he thought he was going to spend the rest of his career at Spurs, the change will be good for him once he settles.
