The only time in the game when they look dangerous was for a few mins after howards slip.
Defensively we were fantastic especailly centre halves -a bit of Watson & Ratcliffe there. hibbert does worry me occasionally though.
If all Rafa can do is moan about us, it certainly shows how much less than wonderful his are -but that was there for all to see.

He did it during the Hull game, but played through the game last Monday. I think he may have agitated it in training. I don't think it will be serious.
I'll be watching the game at midnight, (on Everton TV), but am curious what folks thought... People are saying Liverpool dominated, with 75% possession, but sky sports had it thus..

This leads to a very deep question which might be another thread because it applies to many other clubs -are we happier under a true blue in Kenwright and being 'broke', having to rely on Moyes to unearth the Cahills of this world and making do with top four pretensions or as our chairman said recently, we need a billionaire owner, to 'progress' and be the next Chelsea or Man city.
To me football is all about loyalty, but now its all about money, sometimes I wish I had any kind of local team in any division where it about turning up on a sat and standing with 10 men and a dog watching a kicking match in the rain (the first team i ever watched was Wick Academy in these surroundings) But I'm a blue (and a tim) and football is life so we make do with smiling at Man City being 'bigger' than manure and hating shrek til i die (its that loyalty thing again)

For me, I know that the footballers look on t as a career. Their families rely on their doing well, however, it does please me to see a player who is not lured away on the promise of huge money. Take the recent rumours of Arteta moving to City, or Aresnal. I know Everton will not pay anywhere near as much as those chaps, but should he sign another 5 year contract, 9as are the rumours), then that will give me a lot of respect for that player, and maybe team spirit is important to some, and not just a bank balance?
