I had to go visit the scene of out triumph last night as I was in Chester (I've been a southern Everton fan for 25 years and watch the odd game when the Blues are in London, but have only ever been to Anfield, so it was about time I visited Goodison!!) and spend some money too:-

I might smile one day!!

Where to start?? Luckily a big sale on too!! (cue the dirty reds commenting!!)

The Gerry Marshall and Gregor Marshall lucky number!!

There is a lot of people on his back, but they need to realise that he, as well as Moyes, are the reason for the revival... Watched the game on Everton Fc TV, and it was certainly not the one way affair many make out. we played well up to the sending off, and dominated utterly after that. Was very enjoyable, and chuffed to see Gosling score! Excellent goal.

Well, got back last night from our 1100 mile, 3 1/2 day trek, but as you can appreciate, it was worth it (understatement of the decade)
for those of you wishing you had been there I can tell you where there were places going. Our hospitality tickets cost £165 + vat each -well, it was my birthday and how else would we have got in? Not everyone took up the offer as The Marquee was only two thirds full.

What the hell has gone on between Moyes and Anchovy? Did he want to go to Hull and as our only fit striker expect to be allowed to leave? and did you see moyes on Sky walking out, never seen him ready to explode like that b4.
Anyone better informed?

The press were alowed one question about Anichibe... That chap asked 2, so got frozen out... Simple as. I think Moyes is fed up of the hype that the media put on it all.

It did remind a bit of another famous Scottish manager, a certian Mr Mclean of dundee United who only agreed to do an interview on confdition a specific subject (can't remember what it was) wasn't raised, when the reporter asked the banned question Mr Mclean punched him. Unfortunately it was a radio interview.
You could see moysie was in need of restraint

Jo's off the mark! smile

Jo's off the mark... again! smile

6 games in 19 days, against top drawer opposition, and the lads have done superbly! Good to see Andy come on, and the young lads did well again.

Anyone going on Sunday. I'll be there supporting the toffee's. Hope we manage to stop Villa's run of luck.

In Moyes we trust!

Enjoy the game and hope for the same result as the last round.
As a Celtic fan as well I know how 'good' O'Neills teams can be. For years under him the Celts punched above their weight in Europe and he seems to have taken that south with him -after all Villa have our position in the league thanks to a string of 'lucky' wins, especially that one at goodison.
some day tomorrow -Old Firm followed by Everton, I'll be drained by tea-time but celebrating !

I've never seen a yellow card given for a handball is the opposition box, or saying you were pushed. Also surious why the handball on the line by Villa wasn't punished... I know we scored, but still.

Justice! Villa should be down to 10 men! Great run by Anchovy.

3-1... get in Cahill.

Excellent 3-1 victory... Again without Saha, Fellaini, Vaughn, Peanuts, Jo, etc... Anchovy was a real handful, and played possibly his best game of the year. Jags was immense, as usual. As for Villa, they played 'OK', but their shooting was pretty woeful. Should of had Petrov sent off for a deliberate handball on the line, and even if it was a yellow, he received his second later on. Still, doesn't matter now.
