See we seem to be splashing the cash. £30m. Wisel apparently inbound. And a new keeper.

Some very solid sources saying that Witsel and Mata are done deals, who'd have thunk it? A midfield of Barkley, Mata, Witsul with Barry/McCarthy/Cleverly competing sounds alright to me, of course it is not yet sealed and signed yet but the omens are promising.

Rumour has it that Stones will move to City for £45 million.

I guess that's a cheap price to pay to see him gone... hehe

I like the sound of this, strength in depth indeed. Stones can get gone for me, when the talk of big money transfer came about, he did not want to know IMHO COYB

Reported in the paper today that the Witsel deal has been hijacked by Chelski, it was in The Sun though...

My info is a couple of days old.
Mata, still in talks, no fee agreed with Manure.

Witsel, talking to a few clubs, the lad is on holiday, no decision on his future for a least another week.

Both deals still have work to be done, don't expect anything this week.

Keep up at the back Echo.
Looks like the Pogba deal is key to a domino effect in transfers.

Why Utd want to pay 100m for PP is baffling me, his showing tonight is ordinary to say the least

No Hilly, let's not start crowing, at least until we've actually signed one or two smile

This, I've been an Everton fan for far too long and seen so many false dawns to get too excited yet. I'm hoping that when we get one deal over the line a few more will follow and it won't be the usual Everton deadline day scramble like usual!

Not crowing but we are being associated within certain media, it's just that now we have a top manager and spending power it's inevitable

Witsel deal stale mate, effectively dead.

Mata, if this happens expect it around transfer dead line day.

Full attention now on William Carvalho, or Morgan Schneidelin.

It's a really strange summer for Evertonians, the signing of RK was a real statement of intent, the stadium stuff and hiring Walsh are clear evidence of the direction we are going in. For the first time in years (and I mean years) I have faith in the management to do the right thing, I can't believe quality signings won't follow Walsh's appointment.

William Silva de Carvalho (born 7 April 1992) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Everton as a defensive midfielder. He moved to Everton as he always dreamed of playing for the toffees as he hated the gobstes over the other side of the park.
