Yeah I agree, its boring. Especially as lets face it we'd love to have you're historical record and current potential.

Annoys me the same when we are called bluenoses and bitters by Liverpool fans mind. The feebleness of the insult is ridiculous. Local rivalries often cause problems in cities but the city of Liverpool is surely unlike places like London, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow....?

Been out walking today but had an ear on the game, sounds like we have done really well to get a point, 2 pens saved, some keeper we have signed for next to nothing!

Very good point indeed! Could call us lucky but I like the way we dug in and defended stoically. Stekelengberg had an unbelievable game.

Fantastic individual goal by Rom, he really is blossoming into the world class striker we hoped he'd become.

Always difficult to tell from the edited highlights but City should've smashed us, I don't think many teams will come away from the Etihad with a point this season and I think we were lucky, mainly because Delefou, Bolassie and Lukaku don't work hard enough in a counter attacking system. I hope we don't have to endure too many performances where we are quite so backs to the wall this season as I can't see us being able to reproduce that result.

You have to agree Ross needs to wake up and learn from RK if he does he will become the player we all thought he was going to be.

The Rooney question. If he wanted to come back to finish his career at Everton.... how would you feel about that?

I say yes. But he'd have to take a massive wage cut.

No way. We already have Barkley, why do we need another underperforming midfielder?

No, we need to move forward. He's a good few years past his best, and there are better players out there for less money/wages

Sadly, Barkley is no more than a 1/4 of the talent that Rooney is, time to face facts. Even now, Rooney is a far better player, and has a couple of seasons left in him in the right team.

But yeah, cost would be the factor, he'll go to the states I reckon.

I disagree, neither should be on the payroll.
