I'm sorry, but the 'it all averages out over a season' bks doesn't wash with me. It bloody didn't last season did it? The mackems got a couple of results that sent us down and not them.
Awwwww, it's always somebody else at fault isn't it?

rofl

Ya team was ste man, so was ours, just slightly less ste than yours.

Which wasn't hard in fairness as you really were ste.

Yes it does. You were one of the 3 worst teams in the league.

The worst decision I have ever seen in 45 yrs of going to football was at your place, and went in your favour. We never got stonewall pen at 0-0, and you went on to win the game.

Now, being reasonable, you were better than us that day, and deserved to win. But had we gone 1 up, it might have been different.

That's football. No ref ever caused a team to go up or down. That's decided over a whole season of good or crap play.

I'd say the clubs have broadly the same "excuses" over the years, st investment, chump owners and some no hoper managers/coaches.

And you're not still ste? rofl

The only team to become a winner by being relegated, I read that on here somewhere about your mob, can't remember who said it though.

Brilliant. jester

In general I'm enjoying this season and watching us play some good stuff.

Can you claim the same?

Every minute has been a delight man, cool

I even got comedy when I sat and watched the stadium empty after Arsenals third goal went in - you'd have thought the fire alarm had gone off hehe

I hear your lot were booing after a defeat a while ago, so clearly not everybody shares your enthusiasm.

Probably the same idiots who were betting you'd got the season unbeaten though, in fairness laugh

My rage will start when they sell Pickford for £2.36 in January - it's a given with the cheap tts in charge at our place, no doubt in my mind.

NE fans know what really matters in life, and as much as we may joke about it, it really isn't football.

Awful situation for the poor little lad and his family.

Yes two good quality goals.
Tough game, we seemed to lose it for a while and was expecting them to equalise.
Luckily for us they lacked quality up front.

Those are the games that good teams, at whatever level, learn to nick a win from.

Not a great performance overall, patchy I'd describe it as, but a couple of bits of quality for our goals and Shelvey played well. Mind you he was given a lot of time and space.

Just saw Sky goals for the Burton Albion game, looks like we had some luck, anyone else think perhaps Shelvey pulled their player down in the box.
Still all things being equal after the forest game maybe it was our turn for the ref not to see it.

Gayle should have killed that game off for me, an easier finish than the one he scored.

A great move for their goal and they possibly deserved a point from what I saw.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. A win that was needed, as it turns out, after Brighton nicked a win late on.

P.s. another win for the SMBs, maybe a derby may still be on the cards next year?

Shelvey banned for 5 games, he's a ticking time bomb, just can't stay out of trouble for long.

Will be interesting to see how we cope without him.

Hayden / Gouffran inside with Ritchie / Atsu outside?

Shift Anita into midfield, bring Lazaar or Yedlin into defence?

Nip out to the shops in the January sales and buy someone to replace him?

It'll be interesting indeed.

Arguably our best player of the campaign so far.

A big loss no doubt at all. Does have the right of appeal mind. Apart from delaying the sentence I don't know if that could mean a longer punishment if that fails, anyone know?

I understood it was a racist insult, but no detail of what he is alleged to have said to the Wolves lad, anyone know?
