I've been keeping very quiet recently, as I fear that this is all just a wonderful dream...
I don't want to tempt fate, but we actually appear to be making some decent, logical signings.
Cabella AND De Jong! Christ, I need to lie down. I was praying we'd sign one, but both seemed extremely unlikley.
We still need a first team striker, possibly two.
Remy didn't get the chance to show off during the WC and Arsenal apparently won't met his personal terms, so we may have a chance to go back in for him. Seeing us linked with Demba Ba as well.
Jesus, we actually appear to be building a good team!

Anyone heard where the rumours of big lad's return came from, I've seen it written in a few palces, but little to indicate the source.
It seems to be just rumours. The Hammers have bought a new striker, so naturally people assume AC is on the way out. Most of the talk seems to indicate that AC is staying put and the new signing will take some of the pressure off.ellroy said:
As for Demba, i thought i'd read he was away out to the Middle East/Far East?
It's all a bit up in the air currently. Chelsea want him gone, Everton are pushing for a loan deal, Besiktas are pushing for a loan deal (with buy option) and we are looking to buy.Knowing NUFC, we'll offer way below his value (probably about four quid and half a packet of Starburst).
RIP John and Liam.

Sometimes when things are truly dark a little spark reminds you that humanity can be better than the normal base level some sink to.

Well done Sunderland.
( I feel a little conflicted writing that and normal service will be resumed shortly.)

WOW! at this rate sometime tonight the fund will hit £10K, considering the target was £100 there's a lot of empathy out there. SMB deserve a round of applause for this gesture as do the supporters of other clubs who have added to the fund, cheers everyone!http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/11352457._/?
