As somebody said above, Tiote was the workhorse last night (again)
I'm surprised he has the energy:

I prefer the Championship anyway, it's less pretentious. Hope you're looking forward to your last two victories in the derby for a while wavey

I'm sure you'll be fine in the end. One of those that prefers it when we both in the same league (preferably Premiership) as the derby games are all we really have to look forward to.

Pretty much all Shearer and Keegan. Plus the expected arrival of Messi really perked the team up.

Yeah, losing Messi really took all the momentum out of us.

I see Luuk De Jong has scored 3 in 6 since he went to PSV.

Interesting to see that all of the 'promising' players in Cisse, Mbiwa, De Jong have all faltered coming here. Mbiwa has been man of the match and is getting rave reviews in Italy!

We need someone in who knows what to do with these players. Its clear Pardew hasn't got a clue.

I think it is more to do with the standard or style of play in the Dutch league. Jozy Altidore scored 39 goals in 67 games in that league!

Demba Ba and Cisse's fault, coupled with the fact we predominantly played 4-4-2.

Please, for the love of God, do not try to defend Pardew. I have watched nearly every game since he came to Newcastle and he is tactically retarded. The guy really has no clue how to use the players at his disposal.

I feel bad for the guy, but only in the same way I'd feel sorry for a chav from the local estate.

Tiote wants away, good riddance.
He is nothing but a liability.
Tries passes he can't do, gets caught on the ball all the time, that bloody daft turn he always tries.

Or perhaps another example of a player being 'improved' by our master tactician and man manager?

Normally I'd agree, Pardew has ruined every player he has ever managed.
But Tiote is a liability.
You can't tell me when you watch a game and see him dick about 25 yards from his own goal you don't think the same!

Did not expect that especially the way the first half was going, Sammy does make a difference no doubt.
Why was their goal disallowed ? Was it offside or ball went over the line when he took the corner ?

No idea.

Pop over to the Spurs thread and see if one of their lot can answer that question (with a minimum of sweariness) hehe

Ball went out before it hit Krul.

Game of 2 halves, terrible the first half and inspired the 2nd. It was like watching a different game. You could see some decent patterns of play with Sammi and Cabella.
