its probably fair to say the summer spending policy thus far looks to have been a bit disjointed hehe

Newcastle are terrible. Useless isolated ste up front. Nothing in the middle at all. Flanks not producing much. Gaps at the back.

And that's just the manager's hair.

We're gonna get dry humped in the second half though.

Is MacLaren actually an alki who doesn't have a clue what day it is? He seems to have no idea how to consolidate a lead, that's for sure.

I thought Mbabu was great, he tackled hard and fought for the ball.

Gutted not to get the win when we fought hard to get ahead.

Mbabu showed plenty of commitment, Wjinaldum looked good again too.

Yep, Mbabu showed great commitment, especially tracking Hazard across the pitch not long before we scored our second.

I thought Mitrovic was outstanding holding the ball, egging the crowd on. Even when subbed he pumped up Toney. He appears to care. If he stays fit and available, Cisse ain't getting another look in. Ever.

Perez gave everything. A great touch and finish.

If they show the desire shown today across the rest of the season we couldn't complain.

A shame to lose the lead, but I expected 4 goals and none in our column today, so musn't grumble.

Pleasantly surprised by that.

Can't see anything other than a plucky loss this weekend though.

You know the sort where we play well, are one nil down going into the last twenty, start to chase and then lose by 2 or 3.

We seem to specialise in that against this lot.

Bloody hell, the table is looking ominous for you guys, Villa and Sunderland. Already a 4 gap margin between 18th and 17th.

apparently he is building for the future...... a future in the championship not the premier league. He has now gone 20 plus games with out a win.. How much longer will he get?

I do feel (a bit) sorry for him, what with the thin squad, injury list and a group of players who are either past it or don't appear to give a fk. I'm not convinced anyone else would be much better. Glad Mitrovic got a goal, he looks very promising and should do well in the Championship.
