Told you. Fair play to you today, did well, can't take anything away from you. Did Liverpool even have a shot? Be a meltdown on smb & rawk tonight biggrin

fk it, I'm going for a morale boosting but, ultimately, frustratingly wasted, victory.
I hope I'm wrong about the back half of my prediction.

So pleased for you, especially with the Klopp fest that's been going on. However, you don't seem to know how to keep the ball on that evidence, think you're in for a long season but good luck!

You outplayed us today, well done beer
Yep looking at it as neutrally as I can a draw would probably have been the fair result, but you played with real determination today and deserved your bits of luck.

Rally didn't like that Collocini tackle though, could have been very nasty but Ibe got up quickly which did the defender a favour

Great result, but I hold no expectations that it will continue. Kudos to Klopp though, the way he embraced SM after the second goal. He seems a really decent guy.

Klopp does seem to be a genuine good guy. How long before he becomes as ungracious as the rest off them? biggrin

Evening all, what a good performance that was.

My worry is that we are so inconsistent, that next week we could again loose by a hatful at Spurs.

Against the better teams we see to be motivated and then against those sides you think we should have a chance we can be utter garbage. Frustrating, but onwards and upwards.

I have to say that Collo got away with one today. Could easily have been red.

A good result for you chaps last week - think you can take it to Spurs in the same way? Should be a good game if Newcastle play as well as they did against the Scousers.

Best o' luck smile

Get in, finally managed to string a couple of wins together. Some great saves from elliot kept us in early on. Thought the defence dealt well with spurs in the first half, and I reckon we had the best of the second. The subs took it to them and it paid off. Great to be out of the bottom three.

Talk about a game of two halves.

Spurs should have been 2 or more to the good at half time. Second half they weren't in it.

Great win to follow up last week.

We really need to nail the lid down on villa next week. We cannot let this slip.

Very true. We need to back up these last two wins with another next time out.

2 wins in a row! I'm probably happier with that than any Chelsea fan was with winning the league last year!

Being a Sunderland fan I know all about not getting carried away after Arsenal brought us back to earth with a bump hehe But 2 in 2 against those teams certainly can't be sniffed and and Villa is, or should, be nailed on surely (probably just jinxed it for you all now).

1/1 on bet365 for Newcastle at the moment too, tempted to throw a wee flutter on - I'm not gonna lie though, I didn't think I'd be saying that this season hehe

Just seen the news on NUFC.com

Sad indeed at any time but more so coming up to Christmas. A very well liked player, hope he pulls through it.
